LEGO Technic RC boat explores small island.

- As a last mission, the Brick & Gear Research Vessel embarked on a voyage to explore a small unnamed island off the shore of Lagonisi (Jackrabbit island), a seaside residential area in East Attica, Greece. The mission will help understand the behavior of such builds in windy conditions, and will finally lead to an island "conquest" with an amphibious vehicle!
The footage seen in this video is the full voyage in real time, as even the aerial shots from my drone were edited to exactly fit the timeline of the trip. Also, this is the last time I'll be using my cracked Apeman A77 camera for deck footage, as I will be replacing it with a used GoPro!

Propulsion : 2x LEGO XL motors
Steering : 1x RC servo motor
Camera mount : 1x RC servo motor
Battery : 3-cell LiPo
Remote Controller : FlySky FS-i6 with 6-channel receiver
Electronic Speed Control (ESC) : Hobbywing Quicrun 1060
Footage was shot on Apeman A77 action camera (deck), DJI Mavic Mini drone (aerial), and DJI Action 2 (POV).

θα ρωταγα πως και δεν πλησιασε παραπανω, αλλα μετα σκεφτηκα ποιος θα το ξανασπρωχνε στη θαλασσα αν κολλουσε... Συγχαρητηρια για την πρωτη επαφη!
(για το τελικο βιντεο μονο, θα προτεινα να κοβατε τον ηχο του αερα, γιατι κριμα το τραγουδι που καλυπτει ο θορυβος)
Η επόμενη επίσκεψη θα είναι με αμφίβιο που θα βγει έξω. Νομίζω έχω βρει από τα πλάνα του drone και του πλοίου ένα υποψήφιο σημείο.
Είχε όντως πολύ αέρα στο τέλος.

No. Saltwater on electric motors is not a good idea.
Frankly, the presentation style was unsuccessful, and it was a repetition of a previous presentation.
The shots that did not show the ship should have been deleted. Also, if it had docked on the island’s shore and a car had gotten out, it would have been a beautiful thing.
You actually almost have in mind my next projects. I intend to disembark on a similar island, but first with an amphibious vehicle, as the boat/vehicle combo requires two transmitters. If everything is successful, I will get a second transmitter and attempt to carry a small crawler on a landing craft all the way to a semi sunken cruise ship.
You should have the pirate ship explore the island
I wish I could, but it's not built for open water! Maybe I should build a bigger one in the future. What do you think?
