Nice to know that lithium batteries are safe as long as they’re not involved in an accident.

If you actually believe that, or the fact that the truck just somehow rolled over for no reason AND THEN THEY EXPLODED... uh-huh, yeah, sure. 🙄 Media LIES to protect corrupt govt.

I saw the video footage from another truck who was behind him and in the video show the truck driver coming out of the port “APM” whit the load un level and the question is why the mechanic let him go out of the port like that because every truck is inspected before go out especially that port is “very strict with chassis “

What authority does a fireman have to speak about the safety of batteries? What kind of circus is this?

Must be a Harris voter, eh Bud? Dems think that rechargeable vehicles are the best but now they hate their Teslas because of Musk joining forces with Trump.

Class D Fire Extinguishers: These are specifically designed for metal fires, including lithium, and can be effective for lithium-ion battery fires. They use a dry powder to extinguish the fire by separating the fuel from the oxygen.
Lithium-Ion Fire Blankets: These blankets are designed to smother and contain fires, reducing oxygen and cooling the batteries.
Sand or Dirt: If you don’t have a specialized fire extinguisher, smothering the fire with sand or dirt can help to contain and suppress it.
Water Fog or Mist: While not commonly recommended, in some cases, using a fine mist of water can help cool the batteries without the risks associated with large amounts of water.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Extinguishers: CO2 extinguishers can sometimes be used for lithium-ion battery fires by cooling the batteries and displacing oxygen.

Yea folks lithium batteries are horrible. They spontaneously explode and it’s impossible to put them out once they start.
Not to mention the chemicals are over the top.
Such a terrible invention. From the devastation of the environment where it’s mined, the slave like work conditions to the unstable toxicity and combustibility of it. There was an unfortunate man who had a portable lithium battery in his hand and he got into an elevator…. The battery exploded, he survived but I bet he wishes he didn’t. Nasty things those batteries.

For those running their mouths about battery fires... Gasoline is flammable. Tanker trucks get in accidents too. Batteries are MUCH safer than gasoline.
