Really would have loved to see someone cast any two spells after Cameron drew his deck in game two. Rest of the table: "Kraum trigger?" I draw in chunks because I know inevitably that's going to happen one day.

i like the flash aspect of agent + breacher + theif paying super nicely with thras activations and holding up permission. there's probably an argument for something like curiosity control using these cards. also add on a few extra thras synergies and stress the advantages thras gives you for having him early.
Opposition Agent, while being the best in decks that capitalize on grindier games, definitely does belong in almost all decks with black because it's not only a card that prevents tutoring but functions as a Praetor's Grasp which is very relevant for a lot of decks.
@@TWICE_ I said almost all. Lots of Ad Naus decks may avoid it, but there are plenty of proactive decks that run it. At times, it can easily just be a card to play on your turn in addition to at instant speed. It's a powerful card that functions perfectly well in many proactive decks.
good old umbra mantel. its one of my favorite cards with how unique it is to give the untap symbol as ability and that it goes infinite with basically any creature helps.

Does kinnan mirrors play mirror works? Goes infinite with sol ring, in fact, it goes infinite with any rock and kinnan.. but if the rock doesn't tap for 2, you don't really do much with it xD Edit: it says "nontoken", so no infinite.. but an still net A LOT, and you gotta respect the flavor win!
Fair, it doesn't go infinite.. but i think it can still net A LOT of Mana with all the rocks that kinnan plays, it seems like it could be the artifact version of seedborn muse.. that becomes BONKERS with seedborn muse! You know, i get competitive viability and all, but i think flavor matters.. makes you play better, that's my excuse 😂
I don’t like opposition agent cuz I don’t like grinding game to a halt if I don’t know the peoples decks. Also tho, that being said one time I agent in after a buddy played his goblin recruiter in his muxus deck. He didn’t know I went out and bought the agent earlier that day 😂

So, Selvala was the very first cEDH deck I ever built. I love storm, I love drawing a metric shitton of cards and I love doing the fact that you get to do all of that in a mono green deck. That being said, my group meta has every other player on Blue and, just like in this game, it doesn't matter what line you take when everyone else at the table has interaction and you don't. You have to either win on turn 2 - 3 or lose, and sadly that's what drove me to take the deck apart. This video even demonstrated how punishing the new 3 mana hatebears can be to a deck like Selvala, whose main strengths are mass draw and tutoring, both of which were shut out in back to back games. Don't get me wrong, this was a really fun game to watch and I enjoy your content, but as a former Selvala player I do have something of a bitter taste in my mouth.
Same here it was my first cedh deck and still one of my favorite commanders. I don't play it much anymore but I think to play it now you really gotta use allosaurus shepherd, veil of summer, autumn's veil. You may even need some number of stuff like insist, Savage summoning, destiny spinner, Gaea's herald, dosan the fallen leaf, city of solitude. Obviously the more of these you add the less consistent the deck gets at going off but the alternative is just getting stopped every time you try anyway so it's kind of a catch 22.
Never played Selvala, but mono G can be suffering. I wonder if there is room to add other effects like Chalice of the Void, Thorn of Amethyst, and Sphere of Resistance, or Trinisphere. It definitely slows your deck down, but maybe it's just enough that players won't be able to afford leaving all that extra mana untapped for interaction. Maybe you can just lean into the stax and use Selvala as a finsiher, though at that point there are probably just better stax decks to play. After the last couple years of MtG releases, though, you aren't picking Selvala because she is a tier 1 competitive deck. Personally, I kind of hate that for like the last 2-3 years the meta has basically been revolving around the same strategy that has only gotten better. Grixis Labman decks have now become Demonic Consultation Thassa's Oracle deck. Just a strictly easier and more efficient game plan that operates in the same way. Personally, I'm at the point where I wouldn't care if they banned all alternate win condition cards like that. They'll ban Coalition Victory, but not Thassa's Oracle and Jace. I'd clean house on a lot of the new cards that have come out. Leovold was quick to get a ban (understandably at the time), but now we have like 4 ways to wheel away everyone's hands in better colors and sometimes with flash. I'm looking back at Paradox Engine days and thinking "Yeah, that wasn't so bad compared to what we have now." At least they killed Flash, I guess.

A great addition to a monogreen deck is Dosan the fallen leaf. It's kind of a grand abolisher for Green decks.
I disagree, it then allows all the turbo combo decks to go off completely protected if you don't win the same turn

Yes! The main one is kraum draws cards and is better than Bruse.
Plays oppo agent, saving the game, suppressing the table, forcing 2 cards out from other players, getting e witness: "I'm not sure it's good"

I think Opposition Agent is better in sub-cEDH games that go longer, but are still powered enough to run fetch lands.

The way to fix opp agent over webcam. Put your decklist online. There are so many websites that do it.
