The way Sam plays Magic is inspiring
The riffle shuffle of unsleeved cards... the intimidation and unease that creates in the modern player is immeasurable.
I'm a month behind watching this, but that sound will be following me for the next month, easy.

Reminds me of the good ol'days on the playground playing on gravel, concrete, whatever, we had no understanding of sleeves for our cards. LOL I still play my pauper decks without sleeves, nostalgia X 1000 :P

Stories during tutoring just seems like good manners as long as it’s efficient and entertaining
This episode truly captures the heartwarming commander experience of just casually hanging out with some friends better than any other episode of a gameplay show I've seen, I love it!
I like the idea of telling a story every time you tutor. But Kyle has to narrate it every time.

Episode was fun as always, making me want to play way much EDH. But I have to say my favorite part of the episode was hearing Kyle's genuine love for science & the story of him being amazed by the density of mercury.
I saw Rhystic Studies precious little face in the thumbnail, and IMMEDIATELY clicked. Loved the energy from this video guys! Fun game!
This has been an incredible episode. The music interlude just made it amazing.
And at 25:43, all Heaven breaks loose and it becomes the best episode EVAR!

NGL the banter outside the game was top tier. It was such hangout vibes. Gameplay was great too!
I was apprehensive about picking up another Commander channel, but the vibes for this one were immaculate. Especially loved the sequences where everyone just started playing instruments

this was probably my favorite episode of any mtg gameplay ever, you can tell they are all friends just hanging out playing a card game more than just personalities for the camera. there was as much story telling, jokes and messing around with ransom instruments as there was actual gameplay and it gave the video a cozy feel
That was an amazing game!!! Loved the impromptu guitar session as well as the story times!! Kyle is soooo amazing with his fountain of knowledge, also his Breya deck was AMAZING!!! very unique play style as well!! All the deck were brilliant!! Sam had a great Ruric Thar deck, loved that Thundermaw Hell was BRILLIANT!!! I would love to see you two play with Spice8Rack and Ladee Danger and like see who can come up with the best Monach themed deck! I recon it be flipping hilarious!
Between the irl poison counters and the jam session this episode was amazing.

Honestly one if my favorite gameplay episodes out of all the different ones simply because of the music being shared and just the pure joy and love in playing the game. Hell yeah.
I love everything about this episode. I do anyway, but this was to another level. Kylebbler jokes, shade throwing, innuendos. And to top it all off, music and story time was amazing

I have an Old School deck that I fiddle with now and then (it's a Thrulls Reanimator deck) that only has inner sleeves, they shuffle surprisingly well, and it's nice having such a small deck, and it lets me look at the card backs again, which is a trip.
Great shoutout to the quest for the janklord, that’s a group that would be fun to have on.

Oh wow Masked Admirers! Lately I’ve been cutting them from decks it’s definitely one of my favorite elves ever. How many elves draw cards *and* recur themselves?
I know from a previous episode that Eilidh and Olivia and I all have a tune for “Rhythm of the Wild,” except the song they chose is different from mine. (They’re both “Rhythm of the Night” expect the hostesses use Lionel Richie and I use Corona.)
To stop loops you could always play a Seht’s Tiger, which gives you protection from a color when it enters the battlefield.
I do the same with victim of night
