This is an amazingly helpful video. I was able to wire all of my capes for my figures and even made a full wired cape from scratch for my hot toys Batman v Superman Batman figure.
Love your custom cake bills because I build them as well and might give you a suggestion my good friend instead of using that heavy wire that you are using.. used the wire that is used in tying vegetables that you see at the market you will truly love it as I do.. it does not hinder any posing movements with the cape whatsoever but still makes the cake look like it has no wires in it at all and the Cape reacts to the least little wind..👍👍👍👍.. try it you will truly love it my friend. It is perfect for 6 in 7 in characters that have capes
Hi. Thanks for the tutorial video. The tools which you have shown is very difficult to find in India. Can you make the Cape and sell it. Not this one actually. I saw your video of customizing McFarlane batman with the black Cape having a ring like something at its neck, so if you do make and sell the capes then I am interested in buying so for my batman figure.
Awesome work sir!!! You are the only other person I've seen online that makes custom capes as nice as mine. LOL! The wire really sets off the movie masters figures. I may have to do one like that. Great work man! Keep it up!
Awesome idea, in the process of trying this myself. Im not quite understanding what the ornament hooks do. Are they for the direction of the cape, and the floral wire for the form?
I also just subscribed to your channel my friend truly love what you're doing and I hope my last message about the wire will help you in a big big way I don't think you'll be disappointed at all
Oh and last comment my good friend you should add an icon in these messages to be able to add pictures of what we are commenting on and what we have done
Swooping circular cuts. Sorry for the edit. I use the rotary cutter on all fabric cuts. I probably should have done this in 2 parts but iMovie only lets me output 10 minutes.
Azlong as Mattels been toymaking u'd figure they'd/moviemasters already come with a cape like this. But they always have lame rubber nonposeable capes & Geeksummit's cape is hella better, like 100% better.

Great video, this will help to make some custom capes.
right on man going to try this awesome custom idea,
Oh right, cheers dude I'm definitely gonna give it a go!
I used 12 in ply tie wires and I just remove the wire from the black plastic and expose the wire itself it is absolutely great
@mattpyro. Should be something like 16" x 7.5" before you do all the folding. Even of that's excessive it would still look awesome with extra length.

Awesome stuff. Will try it myself, but you got any measurements for the cape? I'd hate to mess up 3 times before I get it right.

I haven't experimented with 2 color capes myself. I suppose something could be done.

It's a floral arrangement wire. Craft aisle @ Walmart.
cool cape, if toy makers so uld just go the extra step like you do, toys would be worth the price tag.
