The Games and Toys clue is easily Val'Sharah. You have abandoned towns that have been overrun by the Nightmare. You awaken from a nightmare screaming and run away leaving everything behind.
My first guess would have been the place is eastern or western plaguelands where you do a quest for this ghost kid whose entire village was slaughtered, to retrieve her teddybear. Can't remember what it's called but the questline is quite well known. There's so many things that would fit :P
I also have to say that I was overwhelmed by the dedication that went into this puzzle. Joining the people in Discord just before the Gnomeregan case was solved and listening to them was an amazing experience I've never had before!
omg mmrrggll it just hit me! with the "pleasing sign" i know what it means! its a gear because when you can interact with something your mouse icon turns into a gear! also everyone was pleased when the skull became interactable (mouse turning into a gear)
I noticed when I played the Bejeweled game that there were circles that look like each column's shadow on the bottom. After toying around with the board, the shadows would toggle on/off when a specific symbol was wiped from the board in each column. The symbol on my board was the tentacle, and when all were cleared from the board, the game was won.
If you are stuck in the halls and can't beat it if you log out and back in you reset your position to where you zoned in at. I spawned in with a yellow rune in my first room and yellow orb ended up being my last one to find. Every time I started to get confused with my mapping I would just log out then back in and I would appear in the yellow rune room and take a nearby way I haven't taken yet. It took me about 30 minutes mapping it out with this method. If you are wondering you do keep your orb buff and progress when relogging.
I have an explanation to the Val'Sharah clue "Games and Toys Are Left Behind, When you Awaken Screaming".. the explanation to this that I have, however doesn't make sense in the Live Game.. was during Legion Alpha/Beta, In the house where this Blingtron game/clue is, there use to be a chest that contained the Legion Pocket Portal toy (Blizz removed it and it later appeared on a Broken Shore vendor for 7.2), this was the only toy you could acquire in that Nightmare area. So due to this chest being removed when Legion 7.0 launched, this clue doesn't make sense to any player who only played the live game, but for those who were aware of the toy from Alpha/Beta, it does make sense somewhat as the clue alludes to maybe a Night Elf left that toy behind when the Nightmare took over that area in Val'Sharah.. So this further leads me to believe that maybe this entire hidden puzzle quest was created during PTR as well, so that can explain why it's referencing a toy location that's no longer there.
The Val'Sharah one makes sense because the people of Valsharah awoke to the corruption and the harpies pillaging their village so they screamed and ran and left behind Heirlooms (one of the quests) and their toys. (Just my guess idk really)
I'm still left wondering who and how someone found the goblin so fast. Azeroth is a big ass world to search through, and he could've been anywhere - but he was still found very, very fast. Was it really just luck?
Lets be real, after the date of Ulduar, none of this made any sense but eventually the dev started giving you guys clues to the random shit that was being said... That binary clue and then the solution was absolute asinine bullshit.

It was fun to find all the clues and solutions. I was in chat with the Secret Finding Discord all day yesterday. It was a nice break from the normal grind. I am sure blizzard will fix it but for the time being if you play a DH you can cheat in the endless halls and double jump and dash over the blue rocks in 3 of the 4 door ways. If you are facing the Torch side of the slab you can jump the rocks in the left and right doorways and the doorway behind you if you hop up on the jars first. Have Fun

I like knowing that I was one of the earlier people to look into the Chinese murloc thing. I went a bit too deep into it, mind you, but I was still entering those murloc numbers.
Stop drawing anything and just run around. The less you draw the more time you have to run and running is the only thing essential to solving this. Backtrack 4 or 5 rooms max if you run across orbs/runes in them, but that is it. Completed it in around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I actually suggested on the discord in voice that Recksum's clothes looked very specific and maybe it had something to do with it. Was mainly ignored and some British person just said 'no' to me. 4 hours later and I'm right.
Could elaborate some more on how the anagram was solved using different language clients. And yes I only mention this because I was involved in that breakthrough!

The maze at the end ruined it all for me. 2.5 - 3 hours of mindless running around. I tried mapping but after filling out an entire page for one color, I stopped tracking. Especially because I missed one turn so I was screwed. The maze was really poorly designed and, like I said, kind of ruined the whole experience for me.
I was one of the ladies in the chat, and I thought it was cool that Discord was full of RUclipsrs and streamers I follow. This was the first secret I participated in, but I will be doing them all going forward!
Finding the "chair of despair" was pretty insane on my part. Posting the first screenshot of the empty cave with just a chair with skull on the Discord followed by getting mentions and PMs left right and center... Funny how that one became the longest standing mystery of this entire puzzle. And if that wasn't enough, a guildie of mine was the first to find & post a screenshot of the final chest's location too ;)
When you awaken screaming= Nightmares. Emerald Nightmare. Games and toys are left behind... I guess just search in houses for left behind objects? That's one of the less crazy hints on there, for sure. "What you seek is buried within" though... there are so many tombs and 'buried' places in WoW, this one is ridiculous to me. I guess these are the kind of puzzles that just require massive numbers to scour the game.
I'm only loosely recording what I read on a reddit thread, so everything I'm saying might not be 100% on the mark, but you left out an important aspect of the Binary Puzzle. The original binary didn't decode cleanly into those ability names, it had to be run through several different coding languages like hexidecimal before it could be decoded into the pet abilities. Also, the English version didn't translate cleanly into hex. Due to localization differences I think the chinese version of the binary was the only one that was able to cleanly translate into hex.
It doesn't go by points. When I was doing it I noticed there was dots on the floor for each line. You have to make all the dots disappear to win. At least that's what happened to me and what I noticed :). Just a guess tho
Something Blizzard fails to understand to this day = RNG is fun in small doses that won't effect you in any huge way. Like a slot machine that costs a dime. If the slot machine would take 2 hours of work to pull the lever, it sucks so much no one would bother to do it.
Yes it was pure RNG... For 35 mins i ran around rooms, and couldnt find the last orb or Rune (Yellow) Finally i found the yellow Rune, marked it in paint. Ran to the next room. Ran to the next room (both only had one door) and then boop there was the orb. But the fact i was in there for 1 Hour and 35 mins, and 35 mins alone was spent on just one single Color trying to FIND one or the other, Not even just looking for the opposite, Just trying to find one.. Proves it is RNG.. The fact that it is different for everyone, also shows RNG

Don't take my word, but I'm thinking that a family lived in that little hut with a kid playing with his toys and games, until they had to escape from the corruption. It seems a bit far-stretched to me.

i am seeing circles on the altar that cant be clicked, how do i know if i am back at the start, or progressing? i just keep running till i can click on something? or what? this is confused without explanation
The braziers in some of the rooms have colored orbs that you can click to get a buff from. Then you spend the buff on the rune of the same color. Green orb -> green rune and so on till you're 5/5.
What worked for me is i just focused on going one way the entire time unless its blocked. So i went north of altar, when blocked go west of altar, when blocked take the remaining path. That gave me 3 orbs and runes pretty quickly. For the latter 2 i figured out that there is a pattern. Also sometimes when you go off your map you get send to the beginning and your camera changes to let you know you started over. Then i just kept going the same way and whenever there was a crossroad i wrote down which way i went. If it ended up in a dead end i went the other way the next run through and got the remaining 2 orbs and runes that way. Hope this helps for some people, it worked for me. Did it in about 35 minutes.
I think you misunderstood the AQ40 clue slightly, it wasn't C'thun that was imprisoned for 1000 years, it was the three dragons next to the bejewled puzzle that've been imprisoned there for that long.

Im so pissed cos i was on the maze, i got all the orbs/ runes cept one. I found the last rune and then i was running around trying to find the last orb. Power went out cos of storm all day and now i have to do the maze all over again. :((
i'm not saying you're wrong, but the first step is a little bit different from what u explained. 2104059, take the middle one = 4, take the second number = 1 and the second to last number = 5 Which makes 15, and lastly take the rest of the numbers which ends up being 2009, including all it's 2009-04-15 which was the release date of ulduar, at least thats how i imagine everyone solved it.
Man.... I am totally exhausted. I had been in the discord since Wednesday til I got the mount last night at about 11:30pm. I only had about 9 hrs of sleep total through out that whole time. If you interact with the skull your cursor becomes a glowing hand, not a gear.

actually "when you awaken screaming" makes sense for Val'Sharah cos you awaken screaming when you have a nightmare and in Val'Sharah is the Nightmare.

I did this recently and my map on the endless halls ended up hitting over 600 rooms took so long but i was not giving up lol

That gave me 3 orbs and runes pretty quickly. For the latter 2 i figured out that there is a pattern. Also sometimes when you go off your map you get send to the beginning and your camera changes to let you know you started over. Then i just kept going the same way and whenever there was a crossroad i wrote down which way i went. If it ended up in a dead end i went the other way the next run through and got the remaining 2 orbs and runes that way. Hope this helps for some people, it worked for me. Did it in about 35 minutes.

There is a quest in Val'sharah when you AWAKE sleeping druid-bear (quest name: Awakening the Archdruid) :D Im sure this is how it was solved

yeah but it is the "nightmare zone" in val shara so that is part of the solution. it is a minigame. is just dont know about the waking up part

I think you misunderstood the AQ40 clue slightly, it wasn't C'thun that was imprisoned for 1000 years, it was the three dragons next to the bejewled puzzle that've been imprisoned there for that long.
ive spent 7 HOURS in the maze, collected all the orbs-runes, but the scroll didnt drop. not a thing, nothing happend. 12 hours total not well spent...
There is now an add-on for the MoP part with rooms having the coloured orbs/flames, coz it's really easy to get lost in there: wow.curseforge.com/projects/lucid-nightmare-helper

Im so pissed cos i was on the maze, i got all the orbs/ runes cept one. I found the last rune and then i was running around trying to find the last orb. Power went out cos of storm all day and now i have to do the maze all over again. :((

The Chinese guys got the 3 ability names from theirs. We didn't really solved that part of our clue.

i'm not saying you're wrong, but the first step is a little bit different from what u explained. 2104059, take the middle one = 4, take the second number = 1 and the second to last number = 5 Which makes 15, and lastly take the rest of the numbers which ends up being 2009, including all it's 2009-04-15 which was the release date of ulduar, at least thats how i imagine everyone solved it.

Man.... I am totally exhausted. I had been in the discord since Wednesday til I got the mount last night at about 11:30pm. I only had about 9 hrs of sleep total through out that whole time.
