It's irritating and sad to see people complain about ads when they aren't that intrusive, yet they don't want to pay for premium and still expect 100% free service and still, meanwhile want to monetize their own content. Ads mean the audience can watch content for free and the creator and platform can earn some money. It costs money to provide a platform like RUclips, that money to come from somewhere. Either pay for premium or don't bother watching.
@DAK1964 I was under the impression RUclips placed the ads and the amount of ads and the content maker had zero say it it. Just like they have zero say in if they get monetized and actually make money from their videos. I have an ad blocker on my laptop but not on my phone.
