l.e.d. lighting is definately the way to go for all garages. i switched from four 4 bulb flourescent lights to four 2 bulb l.e.d. lights and it is a night and day difference. i also added a 2 bulb l.e.d. light over the work bench and another over my toolbox.
I have been using mid 90s Altima Fans on my S13 since 05. It's a cheap alternative. They are 3 speed and while the shroud will need some trimming, they cover decently well. I'll definitely keeping an eye on that trigger set up. Not sure if it will work with my Empathy ECU

Give a nissan quest alternator a try? 125 amp iirc... its been years since i did mine on my sr20 lol. But it stayed 14v all day and had no dips when running dual FALS and bunch of extra electronics
It’s always a good idea to change the damper pulley on old engines, since the rubber often used on stock ones degrades over time and in engines where the oil pump is driven off the crank it can mash the pump gears.

$3000 usd for r154 is a rip, it only costs about $3300 AUD (about $2500 USD) for one in Australia straight from the dealership and with shop discount its around $2800 AUD
On the alternator upgrade, a company I used to deal parts for called Tuff Stuff Performance does billet upgraded amperage LS alternators, as well as many other accessories like power steering, etc. Lifetime warranty, made in USA. Might be worth looking into if you want to go the LS conversion route.
No I don't believe he is. Dual guides are definitely the way to go if they are measured out and done properly. I have an old video on my channel explaining dual guides.
Yo Sammit. Send me a link on the CAS replacement trigger kit. Im liking what I see. And reference alternators. The C11 Tiida has a 140amp alternator while the SR20 has a 90 amp. Im considering using that on my SR20. Whats your view on that?
when i rebuild alt 's it is all luck in how much amps they put out its like a crap shoot and depends on the parts that you put together , they only have a few pieces inside once you get one open
@@wickidtoymaker742 check the rear strut towers, they have a tendency to rot(depending on region). The oe suspension is better than most of the eibach and similar lowering springs, far more balanced(atleast from when i trying stuff out in early 2000's). Unless you are going decent coilovers setup by someone who knows what they are doing just get new struts if the springs look good and replace old bushings around the car. Check over you brake lines, bleed all the fluid, and i would just replace the rubber flex brake lines just for peace of mind and a firm peddle. The brake setup was very nice and an upgrade for alot of cars back then, but even economy brakes of today have larger rotors than early 90's sports cars. The nx2000 has a 4x100 bolt pattern which kind of limits rim choices. but if you are every looking to go larger brakes look into versa/b15ser front hubs and see if you can make that work, it would get you a 4x114.3 bolt pattern 280mm rotor and decent pads that are still cheap. Along those lines im pretty sure you can make j30/q45 duel piston calipers work with versa/b15 rotors so that would be another upgrade. Change gear oil and hope its been done over the years so the lsd still works. Get used to a cable clutch :P above anything else good tires, make sure fluids are flushed and good. Enjoy a super light well handling car. Also alot of the b13 ser forums will be off use, most of the platform and hardware are the same, nx just had better brakes and suspension so alot of questions can be asked there, aswell as ideas for how to tune the car if you go that route

Brand X Electrical will build you an alternator to spec, and will even powdercoat it the perfect pink to match. Look them up on FB.

LS Alternators can be adapted and have even more amperage.

The trigger kit is made by 5-0 Ignite. Pretty easy to find the website.
