Thanks for the grease video. I think you can use a cheap paintbrush. I would use an acid brush; cheap brushes for spreading flux on copper pipe sweat joints. I wonder whether you can extract the gear(s) and clean before grease?
Thanks for the video. Drove me nuts though watching you fooling around with that screwdriver applying the grease. Put your finger in the grease and get it in there! ;-)
Wow, that is WAAAAY too much grease. The proper amount reduces both heat and friction, and reduces wear. The amount of grease you used goes WAAAY beyond the necessary amount and actually acts as an insulator and retains heat, and increases friction beyond that which the optimal amount would achieve, reducing both efficiency and longevity.
Too much grease shortens the service life, it will heat up and wear much more. You'd better take this video down, because you're fooling the unsuspecting incompetents! KAL-MAN from Hungary
This is the way to NOT grease your mid drive, clean the gear and case first. then lightly grease

lol
No need for a crank puller?

Thank you for this comment
TOO MUCH...........CLEAN FIRST ............LESS GREASE.........

Best thing to apply the grease is your fingers 👍
Get it crammed in everywhere 😁
In my opinion too much grease
hello, how often or how many kilometers do you perform this maintenance? thanks
Once a year
