I finished my repair and tear down. Didn’t think I could do it. Watched several videos of different problems.Take lots of pictures and take note, even if it’s looks silly, putting it all back together was easy.Get the proper tools is a must.I used the mobile 28 because of the properties.I have the same motor and my core body was replaced.I greased mine and am totally blown away as to how quite it is now. At high speed my tires make more noise. In the lower speeds it’s quite. Before the motor gave off a high pitched whine to which I can now say lack of grease. The first thing I noticed was getting better top speed 43 to 50 km/hr.Been out twice now.I needed to tighten up the crank arm because of cracking out from to loose. This time went over and used blue lock tightener. My ride went well and didn’t notice the same problem. Ride safe folks.

May 22/2019. I fallowed this method and greased everywhere you did and thank you for your idea. How my bike is supper quite and you can hear the motor but a like low pitch whirling num.I showed it to a friend with more knowledge and he thought it sounded like what a electric motor should sound.I also get a faster km/per hr.As of this date I have ride 200 km and have no problem. Thanks again, ride safe.

Great video, thank you. One tip: make sure your nylon gear is not 'upside down' before re-inserting/installing. The sides look identical, but you'll see the obvious indent where your snap ring will go back on. Much easier to do BEFORE you have all that grease on there :)

The colour of the original white silicon grease inside at 4.17 looks in excellent condition! I would have put it back together as is, that mobilegrease 28 is not dielectric where as the original white silicone grease is dielectric.. i found your video pretty awesome! i enjoyed seeing the full teardown of the motor compartment👍💪

Did you have problems with the motor moving downwards at the beginning? Your bottom bracket looks pretty worn out from the side, and you mounted the steel plate the other way round, that's why I'm asking. I'm currently abount to mount a BBSHD on my bike myself, and I'm a bit concerned if the stock assembly is enough to hold the engine properly. - Though I haven't really read about these problems so far.
