I had very high calcium levels for years and the VA said, "eh, you`re fine." Finally after 7 years of >11 calcium, they tested for PTH and it`s 200.0 with low vit D, etc. Do your OWN research and be your OWN advocate. most PCPs are too dismissive.

I can’t believe that my nephrologist hasn’t had me tested for this. Just keep giving me pills 😡
