I test rode a base MT10 last week and it’s an absolute blast. The salesman told me that he had a couple of pre-reg 24 models for £11,800! For the price, nothing in this segment comes close.
Have to admit, I didn’t think they could make the front end any more ugly, but they managed it. That truly is a hideous headlight. Saying that, I guess it's not a bike you buy primarily for the looks - you buy it because some loon shoehorned a R1 lump into a naked bike. To be honest, I much prefer the MT09 as an all round bike. Especially on the rock where we are.
They look a lot better in the flesh, especially if you add the small side fairing made by pyramid plastics. Why yamaha made the gen2 without the side fairing is madness. Completes the bike
just wonder, how fast you start feel pains ,driving this one :D I used to ride Super Duke 2021 , not for long distances :D Later finish with Tiger GT PRO 900, and Forza scooter 350cc :DDD I need comfort, but sometimes want to comeback to power :DXX and this sound is amazing :)
That’s the thing, the pipe isn’t loud. That sound you hear is from the air intakes at the front (they look like speaker grilles either side of the tank. They’re tuned at different pitches so you get an amazing aural experience without the bike being obnoxiously loud.
That roller is to adjust play in the lever. It should be around 5mm. The lever is non adjustable. I hope someone hasn't seen your post and thought it true which can happen on social media🤞
8 minutes ago (edited) i think next year there will be new one announced at some point for possibly later in the year or 2025 with all the new tech and switch gear the new MT09 has got. probably re designed aswell. but they better leave that CP4 engine alone. i would also have Yamaha reliabilty over most other bikes. lol and dont be fooled with the fuel gauge they are mega thirsty bikes.
Nice bike , good engine, looks better ? , I’m thinking about a Ktm 1290r evo , or mt10 sp, Iev got a Ktm 890 gp . I like the fun factor- adrenaline kick, but the wife doesn’t agree 😢

Great review. Great bike , but, it’s unnecessarily ugly 🤦♂️ it’s important when you’re paying that much for a bike Yamaha! Love the colour schemes though . TFT is a little 80’s arcade. I just put an order in for the SFV4 in grey Nero. Stunning motor AND incredible looking.
Man, when they update the MT-10 for hopefully next year, look at this concept art for it, it is the coolest bike I've ever seen in my life: ruclips.net/video/36kQn5uuZlc/видео.html The current front looks like a complete joke. It doesn't have a chin. It's a worse Triumph Street Triple pretty much

I only had the bike for half a day, so it's not long enough to say for certain, but it was fine for the time that I rode it. Very nice bike. 👍

The clutch lever is adjustable, you use the metal roller where the line meets the handlebar
