It catches me out a lot... not as bad as me putting a whole radio back together, doing the final polish, then noticing I didn't refit the dial pointer though.... 🤣
Just a quirky intro, not a permanent feature. Bit of fun. How many of the voices did you recognise? I do love the RFM3 model. FYI, it's the same chassis and circuit board as a Rambler II - with the empty slots populated with FM tricks...
@@Codeeze Thanks Paul. I think I recognised all of the voices in that starry galaxy. Interesting that about the Rambler II chassis - had never occurred to me but will look that over as I have one of them here. Keep up the good work, even the digital work!
You did? Most of the ones I tackled were audio IC's and / or voltage regulators, a couple with screen issues, one simple one with a dead chargepak - oh, and lots of cleaning the horrible outer sticky cases
These plastic frame speakers don't really lend themselves to being taken apart that far to test - well, they do, but not back together again afterwards!
Love to see the next instalment of this radio. Especially an alignment. Good to see you again.
Thanks! - Your wish Terry... Part 2 - Alignment, is up already
Aahhh, the old not connecting the wires to the speaker ploy to see if we are awake at the back of the class.😁

Got to love a RFM3 .
It's the law... 😎
Working on radios? Whatever next!! Good to see you making another video, great intro!
I might have a go at outboard motors... Thanks for watching (and listening to yourself in the intro) Andrew 😎
Welcome back!
Thanks Barry! Good to be back
That was a blast from the past. Nut Tightening, Posh torque driver and a forget to put the connectors on......
No torque driver, just a driver with a built in spear...
Connectors - not as bad as forgetting a dial pointer eh? 😎
Thanks Paul, loved the inuendo see you in part 2
😁
Glad you enjoyed it Mike - Part 2 is up already!
I like your new intro! Great little radios these. My choice as bedside radio.

Brilliant intro Paul.
Thanks Simon! - I was just sodding about... Did you pick your voice out in the edit? 🤔
Err.. I “repaired” 4, non-working Pure DAB radios - with the correct polarity..?

i Hope you tested the braded wires from the terminals to the coil..... yes of cause you did, I'm a silly bugger lol. :-D
