Yes! My thought exactly! For those who collect diecast car as a hobby, i dont think the detail of this model car would impress us, for $17k starting price that is. As we have seen this level of detail for much less money.
For $17k, i expect the body lines matched perfectly, and the seats are real cushioned leather seats, not hard plastic wrapped in leather let alone just painted plastic, and for $40k i expect it has automatic trunk operation and self closing doors like in real RR. I dont expect to open the hood by pushing up the snub underneath the car like cheap diecast either.

For a 40k model I’d expect a retractable emblem, reclining seats, working seatbelts, working pedals with engine noise, working windows, working steering wheel, able to remove the model engine and see how it actually looks, etc. Otherwise this is not worth one penny at the price they’re listing it for. What a joke company. If you’d be willing to pay 17k to 40k for a replica model that doesn’t even have every feature a car should have then you’re a joke too.
