I had my Appendix removed one Christmas morning and woke up to find a brass band playing (Salvation Army) at the bottom of my bed. You can imagine what sort of confusion that caused in my head. Love your videos

Now there's an experience in Da Nang we never had 😳Glad to see it all went well and you were on the mend in no time Neil 😎👍We certainly don't envy you for your hospital time, but seeing all the amazing sights of Hoi An again..., oh how we miss it 😊

Such a beautiful spot! And the medical care at Da Nang hospital was top notch. There could have been worse places for it to happen!

@@kiwisonthego6712 we were actually thinking exactly that while watching. Although we never had reason to go to the hospital while in Da Nang, because we were going to be there for some time, we had asked on a couple of the expat sites for info just in case and the consensus was that Da Nang Hospital was pretty good.

We can recommend it (if you have to have emergency surgery!!) - seemed to have all the necessary facilities and the staff were lovely.

Omg, I'm glad everything is okay and you weren't in some remote area. It looks like you were able to enjoy Hoi An after all!

We were really lucky it happened on first day as well as we were in Hoi An for 6 days anyway so we didn't have to change any of our travel plans :)

Pleased to hear that you recovered so well and quickly.
How do you arrange flights between one place and another overseas? Keep well

Thanks. We book our flights online - usually via Skyscanner. It seems to work well for us :)
