Yep!!!!! All went downhill from there !! But think about it like this , if obj joined the team and their season was derailed and they didn’t make the Súper bowl and win it , you already know obj would’ve been the blame !! So he was under IMMENSE pressure and delivered on his end
Being cut doesn't mean that no one wants you in a trade. That just want you cheaper. And for the players sake, when u get cut you can go anywhere u want and bet on yourself. That's the beauty of being cut. Freedom. We granted jarvis and odell freedom to go wherever they wanted to.
Skip said OBJ said to himself "I know deep down in my heart I'm a complimentary receiver" this man... in a video about how The Browns released Jarvis Landry .... His takes are entertaining I guess...
If that happens, the Chiefs would win another super bowl. The Chiefs are a dangerous team. But you pair Jarvis with Tyreek Hill, Jarvis on one side, Tyreek on the other, OMG!!!
Exactly. It's the formula of hottake debating. Lay the foundation so that either outcome means you win. Modern politics: If your opposition has a bad outcome, hes incompetent and shouldve done this "see i told you". If there is a good outcome, "well it doesnt matter" they or theyre team backed into a success despite their incompetence. See how easy it is to never have to admit youre wrong?
It's been 4 years and Baker still hasn't proven himself yet. Even the Browns know he is not a franchise QB. But for some reason, Skip thinks he's a franchise QB.
Baker is watching this right now and it’s motivating him. Next season he’ll wear a shirt that says, “game manager” to mock all the haters. He’ll say edgy things like “I feel dangerous today”, “we don’t care what anyone thinks.” And then he’ll tank the whole season. 😂
I'd gladly take playing behind Clevelands offensive line, handing off to arguably the best running back duo, and having Cooper, Hooper, and Njoku to throw to. That's a majority of the offense that is solid, and a few pieces being elite. It sounds better to me than quarterbacking for most other teams. It lacks the gaudy stat lines for a passer, but where else is set up better to hand the ball off a few dozen times a game and complete some passes to big bodied targets like Njoku and Hooper that are lined up on mismatches?
Had nothing to do with Baker. When Browns couldn't get anyone willing to take on his $90M contract, OBJ forced his way out by whatever means he could and took $1M to play with the Rams as WR3 vs WR1 (with target on his back @Browns). Worth it to him to have a chance at the Superbowl ring as Rams were strongest contenders. Landry didn't play well last year due to pushing through injuries (as Baker Mayfield did) & dropped a lot of balls. His contract was one of the highest in the league & he had to take less for the Browns to keep him. He opted to be a free agent when they didn't agree to what he wanted. Landry & Baker were very close, professionally & socially, and worked together to change the culture in that locker room. Basically, the Browns are cleaning house and want a lot of new faces. I will miss Landry ... 😔
@@AlwaysHalloween000 Jimmy G is also nowhere near as talented as Rodgers. Jimmy won because his defense is elite. I'll give Skip this. He's very passionate about his side of the argument even if he's wrong. Shannon is 100% correct about this topic. Baker is a game manager not a game changer. He has to rely on two top backs to carry this team to success. Baker doesn't make anyone better, they make him better. Shannon is also right about Watson. Yes, the Browns won a playoff game with Baker as the starting QB. And then what happened? 🦗 The story doesn't end there. 🤫
Time for skip to mention last 11 games of 2020 and his rookie year with the big time throws 😂
😂Bruhhh I’m laughing … but it’s also kinda sad. He won’t let that shi go
This is one of Shannon’s best takes
idk how skip isnt cracking up all the time shannons banter is hilarious
Skip the clown
“This ain’t Pin the Tail on the Donkey!” Shannon is a true treasure!! 😂
I’m wallowing on the floor like a 5 year old from laughing so hard 😂 🤣 😂
Shannon: “ this ain’t pin the tail on the donkey” 😂😂😂
He got the best phrases in sports analysis history.
2:00 I love this show, but when Skip defends Baker, I LOSE my mind. It hurts my brain trying to understand why Skip stands up for a mediocre quarterback. Bringing Manzel vibes, how Skip was his front runner before he unraveled.
I live in Cleveland and I’m sick of Skip being delusional!!!!
The beginning of the end for Baker was on how well Beckham Jr started to play in LA
Yep!!!!! All went downhill from there !! But think about it like this , if obj joined the team and their season was derailed and they didn’t make the Súper bowl and win it , you already know obj would’ve been the blame !! So he was under IMMENSE pressure and delivered on his end
It’s almost impressive the Superman-esque leaps of logic Skip will take to defend Baker.
Being cut doesn't mean that no one wants you in a trade. That just want you cheaper. And for the players sake, when u get cut you can go anywhere u want and bet on yourself. That's the beauty of being cut. Freedom. We granted jarvis and odell freedom to go wherever they wanted to.
“He playing dodgeball” lmfao 🤣
Skip said OBJ said to himself "I know deep down in my heart I'm a complimentary receiver" this man... in a video about how The Browns released Jarvis Landry .... His takes are entertaining I guess...
The chiefs would be happy to sign Jarvis Landry. I bet you that.
They got 25 wr on the roster already
If that happens, the Chiefs would win another super bowl. The Chiefs are a dangerous team. But you pair Jarvis with Tyreek Hill, Jarvis on one side, Tyreek on the other, OMG!!!
Man if the chiefs get Jarvis Landry it's a wrap
I hope the ravens get Jarvis landry
@@D4RKH1M0THY that would be awesome
Damn amari hasn't even played yet and Skip is already getting to use him as a scapegoat
As a raider I'm lovin the skip amari hatred arc.
baker is under so much pressure right now. He got dudes not wanting to play for him now especially on offense.
The hate of Skip on Odell is blasphemous
Jen Hale: "Maker Bayfield" 😂
Time for a new moderator fr
Baked Hayfield.
I luv Shannon Sharp he has the greatest answers for Skip and his obsession with baker mayfield
Jarvis helped turn that bum of a franchise around with Chubb and Mayfield. But Skip will say anything to protect Mayfield.
Why would you do this? He was the main receiver and did alot for the team, should've kept him
He kept getting hurt
I admire that they tolerate each other, they both have terrific insight!
Amazing how many excuses skip keeps making for Baker 🤣🤣🤣 it's everyone's fault except baker 🤦♂️ skips takes on Baker are a real joke
His takes on alot of topics are jokes.
Somehow, Skip doesn't focus Jarvis, Baker or Amari. What does OBJ have to do with this?
I still can't believe we chose Baker Mayfield over OBJ and Jarvis
Skip just saying 💩 at this point. That money must be really good for Shannon to argue with Skip ridiculous statements.
Deshaun is a potential generational talent… this would be like choosing between Jimmy G and Aaron Rodgers - You are gonna pick Aaron Rodgers
Jimmy G has more SB Rings than Fraudgers though
@@AlwaysHalloween000 Only because he was Backup to Tom Brady 🤣
@@PeoplePleaser578 Jimmy G vs Rodgers lifetime *2-0* playoffs / 3-1 lifetime..
@@AlwaysHalloween000 Jimmy G is also nowhere near as talented as Rodgers.
Jimmy won because his defense is elite.
Let take a look at those games -
2020 playoffs - Jimmy G - 6/8 for 77 yards. 0 TDs
2021 playoffs - Jimmy G - 11/19 for 131 yards. 0 TDs
Really was the reason they won those games wasn’t he?
I love Jarvis Landry I’m so sad to see him go
I'll give Skip this.
He clearly has some interest in playing in Cleveland if he's meeting with them. I'm sure Cleveland isn't his 1st option but it's not a bad one. They have a good o-line, 2 top backs, Amari Cooper and a solid defense. They have all that with cap to add more.
Just preparing myself to hear about the 11 game stretch from 20 years ago
The josh Allen disrespect is getting unreal
@@alexreadscomics6607 ok well even if that’s the case that game against the chiefs last year was one of the all time great qb performances ever from Allen. He couldn’t have done anything more to win that game
I appreciate the new talent as the mediator here on this show.
Skip need to host some spinning classes cause he's a legend at it😂😂😂😂 Keep spinnin it Skip
He loves spinning it
He’s horrible at it though
Skip really down bad rn the fact that OBJ won a chip makes me so happy even though I’m a giants fan
Skip is the most hypocritical two-sided person I've ever heard gives Sports takes
First Take please, PLEASE do a Josh Allen v Baker segment!!!!! I ain’t laughed that hard since Bernie Mac was alive!!
Shannon on a damn hotstreak, dudes been talking his sht ahah
Skip so mean man lol the heat wasn’t on Odell to the rams, then it got turnt way up when Robert Woods went down. He went from luxury to a must have 2nd option. Catching TD’s and being the first to score in the SB.
People forget Landry brought credibility to the browns especially in the locker room he doesn't get praised enough for what he did for that franchise.
Ok huh! Yeah I remember that thing he did on that HBO show Hard Knocks!
You know what else was a hard knock, in '19 Browns at 49ers on Mon night, you remember? Remember that? When after the game the 9ers snitched out your guy Laundry and OBJ for telling akk them guys to "Come get me!" Meaning out of Cleveland, Come get me out of Cleveland. Yeah! Yeah, that's a thing that really happened. So, there's your credibility And your praises ea for your dude . Lol! Browns in '22. Baby whoooo!
Skip should really come back to this video after Watson just signed that 230 milli
This is ain’t pin the tail on a donkey 😂😂😂
Man I can’t eat when Shannon Sharpe is talking almost died when he called him a candlestick maker
Skip good with telling these lies with a straight face 🤣🤣🤣
“This ain’t pin the tail on the donkey “😂😂😂
