why there is no Systems and so many Ships? Am I missing something?

There’s only five ships and they all have pilots built in. There’s no systems as the intention is not really to contest it seriously. The small space package it there to battle a bit if needed or perhaps satisfy battle order but you’re mostly focused on doing stuff on the ground.
