    It definitely looks better, good color options, nice screen. Double front disc, many good new options and the engine remaining the same I see as a plus. The main thing I would still want to see on it is cruise control and perhaps a slightly bigger fuel tank but thats it. Overall I think its a good upgrade, but nothing earth shattering

    I own a 2018 NC750X, and for Honda to sell me a new one, they would have to upgrade it to either belt or shaft drive. They are not going to do that of course, Honda is all about chains these days, just like all the other manufacturers, but if someone were to make a belt drive conversion kit for the NC750, I'll bet they could sell a lot of them. The NC is a great bike, to me the only real negative is the chain.

    • @birchwoodbiker
      @birchwoodbiker  Месяц назад

      @@olethorhermansen5696 you can buy a belt conversion kit, I'll see if I can find the link, I've only had one belt driven bike gpz305 many years back, I don't know why just always worried about it snapping, but most your Harley's are belt 👍👍👍🤔

    Was set to replace my 2019 750X manual with this updated DCT version, but Honda still keeping the cheap swingarm that rusts far, far too easily has ended that endeavour. I like the other upgrades they have done, but I also agree with you that it should have gotten cruise control like the other bikes in the NC range.
    Will most likely go for the new ADV350 maxi scooter now, as it is much cheaper, does everything my current NC750X does and is more importantly, built better.

    • @birchwoodbiker
      @birchwoodbiker  Месяц назад +1

      @@Mtthwpez I'm not going to disagree, the NC should be at the same spec as the 750 adv, it's a better bike, I like they have gone in the right direction, but buy taking 1k off both models has just reduced customers upgrading that cost will hit the market hard👍👍👍

    Just goes to show there isn’t much wrong with the existing NC if the only real change is double discs up front. Any suspension changes would add a significant cost to the price of a new bike, I will be interested to see what the new price will be and how it will affect the value of my current 24 model. All the bits I’ve got cost a fair bit, it might not be worth swapping.

    Why Can't Honda make a bike with a nice analogue display ? I mean if someone wants TFT screen and all the shite can't they just use their phone ? the TFT screen is an instant turn off !
    Look at the new Triumph Speed 400, while I don't like the intrusion of the digital display right into the analogue clock the Analogue design is just really lovely to look at, I'm sick having screens shoved in my face, whether at work, at home or in the car, my Bike is an escape from reality and the modern World so I want nothing to do with Screens on a bike and it looks like I will probably never buy a modern Honda.
    Look at the gorgeous clocks on the Bonneville T100 for example , just pure eye candy vs what, a plastic piece of shit that lights up ?
    I'm on the lookout for a deauville 650 or 700, with as little to no electronics as possible.

Promoting something that is a huge step backwards in road safety terms is a strange thing to do but it’s yet another fashion for RUclips influencers. Are there really people out there who find holding a motorcycle at your chosen cruising speed tiring? Really? Any motorcyclist who wants to sit on a faster road and hand over the speed control of his motorcycle to an inanimate object is a fool.

      You are literally too stupid to insult. There are a LOT of bikers in the UK (where the avg age is rising!) who are struggling with things like arthritis. Cruise control offers a MASSIVE benefit to these people and those who do longer runs. A LOT of these bikes are used on motorway commutes where cruise control is a godsend with the amount of avg speed cameras. We don't all just ride between bloody cafes on Sunday and do 1500 miles per year!
