Politicians are addicted to huge populations as it means more votes, more taxes, more people to control and more money for them.

And Australia has some of the biggest income tax in the world.

And a bigger drain on available infrastructure and resources. Australia hasn't seen or learned from what immigration has done to other countries?

So where will the much needed tradies, teachers, nurses, professionals, hospitality & service workers, etc going to come from then? We obviously don't have enough trained and qualified organically in time.

ALbanese had denied visas to builders. See the trade unions agreement. Its all to do with ensuring house prices keep skyrocketing

Why the f… don’t we have enough trained and qualified from within the existing population???

    • @InfinityIsland2203
      @InfinityIsland2203 Месяц назад

We actually do have enough people. The problem is cost of building, not shortage of skilled labor.
Anyway, Australians are being deceived as usual by clowns in Canberra.
Don't be surprised by streets littered with homeless kids and crime waves due to mass immigration and cost of living crisis by next year.

It's called planning for the future (which wasn't done in Australia). You train your own people. You don't expect other countries to do your training for you. You think Australia has planned for its aging population too? Been plenty of warning.

Migration is a good thing if the infrastructure is there. Australia's infrastructure needs to accelerate.

Only if you build UP. Only if you have several hundred CBDs... we have one in each state.
People tend to move to the SE cities.

Sure, let's build over more of this dwindling habitat to accomodate populations who've already over-populated other parts of the planet, let alone populations who come here to improve themselves by making Australia into a place that is anything but a Western country.

As a state, Australia does not want the number of people to increase. Incredibly different country that wants to increase the number of animals, sheep, insects and poisonous snakes..
Australia is a country that favors all kinds of criminals. There are 25 million people and trillions of animals in the country. Australia receives such strange immigrants.

Australia hasn't planned or built a new city in a hundred years. Would they start now? Rather stick everyone in Melbourne and Sydney. 40% of the total population living in 2 cities 😂

    • @multioptioned

What other country has 40% of its total population living in 2 cities? With some of the highest property prices on earth you'd think we had a very limited amount of land...😮
