    I love my echo 590. Back before I got it, I did not know about echo products. This is the 8th year I have used it. I am thinking about getting the 4910 for a back up saw. Last year I bought a new carb for the saw. I was using it every day and found out the diaphragm could get jelly like. That was the first I have ever heard of doing that. I live and learn. If I did not have the Echo CS 590, I would sit down and just cry. I mean these are great saws! One thing I do on a flooded saw is take the plug out then turn the saw upside down pulling the starter rope several times to get the gas out of the cylinder. Then wipe off the spark plug with a dry towel or cloth. This will not have me to breath all of that smoke. You are doing it correctly in the video. A person who drop starts the saw scares me for their safety. I want everyone to be safe out there. I love Echo!

      The decompression button seems like a dumb feature that actually makes it harder to start the saw. I have regretted using it the few times I tried. I just do choke, 1-2 pulls, then push choke lever back in and pull 1-2 more times and it starts right up almost every time. Unless you accidentally leave your saw outside through two thunderstorms like I recently did. Only reason I'm having trouble starting it.

      Really? I like the 590. It seems to be a little more finicky than my favorites but not trash at all.
      I own, and use regularly, the Husky 572xp, Stihl Ms 311 and Stihl Ms362.
      While all the others I place above the 590; However, I believe that's strictly due to Echo still being relatively knew in the chainsaw game.
      Of all the chainsaws I own and have listed obviously the Stihl 362 is my favorite.
      But the 590 definitely serves a purpose. I liken it to being more of a "bulldozer" and the others more so variations of scalpels: meaning even eating large rounds you still feel the saw is doing exactly what you want it to be doing.
      And I make this comment as someone that cuts about 600 cords of wood a year. Maybe a little more.
      I'm wondering why you dislike the 590?

    • @fta206
      @fta206 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@sterlingsterling4701 It's a great running saw IF you can get it started. It floods way too easy. My Husqys all start easy. Most of the time, I end up giving up on it and find something else to do. The best way I've found to start it is two pulls with the choke, then squeeze the throttle and give it hell. Any other starting sequence ends up flooding it.
