Echo CS4910 VS CS501P: What is the difference between them?

The Echo CS-4910 will be replacing the CS-490 in Echo's chainsaw line up. The natural comparison to make would be between the CS-490 and the new CS-4910, but the CS4910 has a 50 cc engine and considerably more power than the CS-490 and is actually more comparable to the CS-501P.Both the CS-4910 and CS501P have 50 cc engines and the similarities do not stop there as you can see here in our video. The CS-4910 has an MSRP $100 less than the CS-501P which makes it a very attractive choice for what you get for your money. But on the other side of that is the CS-501P which comes with a better bar & chain combo and a few (and we mean a FEW) other upgrades and uses comforts.
NOTE!!!!!! We mentioned in this video that the CS-490 is not a 50cc saw. The CS-490 is INDEED a 50cc saw. What was supposed to be pointed out is that the CS-490 does not have the same 50cc engine as the CS-501P and the new CS-4910. The CS-490 uses a different cylinder and a different carb and has less power than the CS-501P and the CS-4910. Echo lists the CS-490 as having 2.7 hp and the CS-4910 as having 3.3 hp
