Wow great video! It's actually pretty fun to taste and visit different omakase restaurants in the world. The selection of sushi grade fish from Europe is particularly interesting to try in comparison to what's normally available in Japan/Asia and North America. We went to a 1-star sushi place in Madrid last year, I've found that shrimp from Spain is some of the best in the world. Definitely pricey and I would have wanted a Uni and Amaebi course, but definitely looks worth trying
Contemplating this for my birthday and happy to see it's more than what I originally thought which was around 10-ish courses. With that said, I'm not sure it looks £100 better than Endo but guess I'll have to try first.
Great video but £450 is too much for a single meal of sushi. Try Endo or Sushi Tetsu. If you are want to try a Kyoto kaiseki - try Roketsu in Marylebone.
@@GourmetBGourmet I've not been but my friend found Roketsu very formal and everyone was very quiet. Endo - very hard for me to book but understand it to be the best in London. Sushi Tetsu - as nice as it is, they won't let you film inside.
@@elliotc88 yes Endo very hard to book, they set a date, 15 mins after fully booked, you can try to send an email to Rona. I know not all sushi restaurants allow film, you seems know Japanese restaurant very well, did you been Japan?
@@GourmetBGourmet I've been to Japan quite a few times yes, but most of my knowledge is from living in London and eating out here quite a lot. I am sure you already have a list but let me know if you want some of my personal recommendations and I will send them through. Keep up the great videos!
All that expensive food looks good and then I see your hand and those cheap Lee press on nails you would think you could at least afford a manicure if you can afford all that expensive food. Just an observation.
17 "courses", the equivalent of 2 sushi rolls, but half the size. Nice for a snack. When does the real food come? Caviar and truffles? they are not in the japanese menu. And besides, white caviar sucks, its disgusting, and I love caviar. Some people would eat dung if they charged 100 quid a course.
@@GourmetBGourmet Comment written in haste. Maybe not cheap, but a good quality rice like koshihikari won't fall apart like that, at least if it's cooked well. Enjoy your vids- keep it up:)
@@GrandMasterTWV I understood, you seems know rice very well, are you chef? Actually Because I took a videos, so the sushi waiting me long, I should eat asap. Thanks for the comment
The very best in quality, carefully-sourced ingredients and an accurate mise en place.
Love the use of local fish vs. flying in from Japan.

@Mountain Joe feel free to continue eating garbage
It looks so delicious😍😍🔥
turn on CC to view Sushi omaskse ingredients details
They don't give you much per course for your money.
$35 per course is very excessive.

endo has more varriety and more relaxing also you leave more full
There over bowing and overly kindness is a great act !
I try to go here at least once a week but sometimes go overboard lol
I visited a couple of times 6 years ago, when the set course was £300. Inflation! An unforgettable experience but not the highest "fun factor"
Sushi is my favourite❤️👍🍣🥢😋
Would it cost less if they cut out all the bowing?
I want the fresh tuna!
Also Araki: I aged them
wow
what does each food tastes like please ?
Like Food. Duh
Aww it looks amazing

@@elliotc88 yes recommend some amazing restaurant to us please
To be candid , for almost $600 there was barely enough fish in the 17 courses to fill a decent sandwich!
This is about as far removed from Yo! Sushi as you can get!😂
smallest nigiri I have ever seen in any Omakase.
One of them fell apart right when she picked it up too. What is this overpriced stuff
Who eats bean soup with chopsticks?
Fantastic, but for me its to much talking...Sorry to be like that!
I understand
Im sorry but $34 for a piece of sushi, id rather get a whole great sushi meal for that price that would fill be up, way to expensive nowadays
Omakase sushi always expensive
Kelp marinated fish is not Konbu-jime,we say it Kobu-jime . This restaurant is not real Japanese .
It’s fake.
一點也不值得it's not worth £454to try
THE JAPANESE CHEF SPEAKS PERFECT ENGLISH with no accent..very interesting
That usually means a person has been born in said country, but his entire family heritage could be 100% Nippon.
Sushi is soooo overated. It’s just a raw fish!!
Omakase sushi expensive

Very underrrated commend 😂😂💩💩
Do you like it when other people tell you how to spend your money?
Konami..
It is not always good way to use Truffe or Caviar on dishes in order to look gorgeous or high price cuisine.
Real Japanese cook will laugh at this .
