It looks like the new App is missing one thing I really liked that Mission Control had. The ability to save/store multiple Tune settings. This was nice because you could have instant access to different presets for different trail systems or types of riding.
Specialized crippled my Turbo Levo Expert when they got rid of Mission Control and came out with this one. The "Heart Rate" selection in Smart control was removed! No more heart rate zone training on the E-Bike, I guess it's back to the indoor trainer. Thanks Specialized!
One thing I really miss which Trek ebikes have is the integrated navigation. You just add destination to your phone and when riding the display shows you the route. Hope Specialized will also do that in the future.
Sam. Thank you for your excellent review of the new Specialized app. I have been using the new Specialized app instead of Mission Control for over three months on my 2023 Levo SL Gen 2 at this time. To extend the distances and climbing of my rides on this mid-powered e-bike, I typically use base settings of Eco 30/30, Trail 40/60 and Turbo 60/80 for my riding at the local bike park and in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of the western US. However, when I want a 100/100 power setting, I use the MicroTune function which is easily accessible while riding via the Handlebar Remote buttons. Going to MicroTune only involves a long press on the (+) button and adjusting the tuning via the (+) and (-) buttons. Also wish that Specialized would have included the crash reporting features of their Ride app within the new Specialized app to eliminate the redundancy between these two apps.
Thanks for the kind words on the video this means a lot! That a good call on the Micro Tune to get the full 💯. I’ll let them know about crash report as it’s a good point
Been using this ' new app' for quite a few months now and myself and my mates agree the old app is waaaay better, but why you ask??? Well the new app seems to be quite problematic to pair with the bike, it isn't recording my rides properly, what happened to jump count? Long story short we all reverted back to the old app until they delete it I guess. Thanks for the explanation of the features Sam, great work.
Great video, thanks. So they dropped the function where you set a target heart rate for your ride and the motor support would adjust automatically? That’s a pity, that was a great feature
Cheers Sam , your video is really helpful. I got my levo a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been playing with the tune function and what a difference that has made to how the bike performs. Absolutely brilliant function.

Hey Sam. I have Turbo Levo Comp with Mastermind. In the support level settings, the battery friendly and normal positions are visible. Racing is not visible. How do I restore it?
Great video Sam! Would be nice if stealth mode was accessable without going into the app though, maybe a single press of the on/off button when the bike is on and long hold to turn the bike off?
This was a great walk through Sam. Very useful. I have saved it for future reference. I only use about 5% of its functionality if I am totally honest. But nice to know it’s there if I ever want to get geeky about stuff. As a couple of others have noted, the loss of the jump stats feature is strange. Would be good to know if it is going to be available again?? I have certainly used the 80% battery charge limit as a precautionary thing. I rarely ever use more than 60-70% of the battery, so anything that helps battery health seems like a good thing. The auto lock feature is also a good addition, though it won’t stop the steal and strip-for-parts b@st@rds. But…. What is needed is a much better/louder alarm built into the bike. Nice video Sam! I’ve been using the new app for many months now and pretty much just left it all on default and never thought about tuning anything until now that I’ve watched your video. I’m not big on reading instructions… thanks for the clear explanations!
As a beta tester for the new Specialized app, I believe that you 'nailed it' for 6 months ago. Would be nice to see you do another video that just targets your power settings in the new Specialized app for the new 2023 Levo SL.
My Specialized Vado 4 will arrive in a few days, until then. I'll watch any video that gives me as much info as possible. Your video certainly did that.
Great review as all ways , but I’m so used to the old one and all my pre sets stored depending on how I’m feeling and where I’m riding , when are they stopping the old Mission Control ?
Thank you for your feedback! It's understandable that change can be difficult, especially when you have presets stored and are used to the old Mission Control. I think they will stop supporting Mission Control early next year
Great walkthrough of the app and tuning features. The app really was one of the selling points to me. One major disappointment that I have with the new version is that there doesn't seem to be a way to export heart rate data to Strava. You have to pair via the hardware on the bike, but you cannot export the HR data from the app. It doesn't even seem like the app acknowledges the HR information at all.

Great review of the new App. I have already tried it a few times but expected some flaws every now and then, that's why I still use the MC and Ride Apps for now.
I like the way Bosch does assistance with their smart modes like Tour+ and EMTB. Tour+ automatically switches between eco (60% assistance) and Tour (160% assistance) based on how you are pedalling. It’s seamless and really helps to save battery. EMTB is the same but switches between Tour (160%) and Turbo (340%). Theoretically Tour+ can also go all the way up to turbo assistance but I’m not sure when it does it. It’s so smooth that it’s not easy to tell when it switches modes unless you really pay attention. I think it might go into turbo assistance when you are going up a steep hill and pushing hard but your cadence is dropping so the bike goes full power to help you maintain your speed but I’m not 100% sure about that, it’s just what I have felt.
Hmmm. Will the old app get replaced as a matter of course? Will I have to use the new one.... ? Like some other commenters I'm only likely to use 10 - 20% of the new one tbh... I gave the new one a shot but binned it. But I will say, Sam, that was a top job explaining all the features of the new app. Nice one!
Really excellent explanation Sam. I’ll be sharing with mates. Interesting that you mentioned auto lock if the phone is away from the bike. And a way to keep Verdone that if the phone battery fails. (This app does seem to drain phone battery). Where would we find info about that please. And doesn’t it kinda negate theft protection. Like others I’d like to save multiple custom setups for different situations - fit now I’m doing that by taking screenshots. Rider care told me that night come eventually. It was pretty useful in the red app I found. Thanks cobber.
I like saving different setups on the old app so that I can choose my settings based on the type of ride and who I am riding with. Like when I ride with my wife who is slow, I just load my program for low levels of support so we are more evenly matched. Do I only get the three different tuning programs now "Universal, battery and racing" ? ALso How do you save your changes?
Thanks Sam good job as always. My gen 3 Levo 2022 alloy comp doesn’t haVe mastermind. Is that why my screen shows bike status in the top right of the screen instead of the lock access? Build is 1.8.0 954 cheers.
@@SamsBikes sadly being one of the (majority non S Works) Specialized paupers… my budget only got me to the Alloy comp last year no Mastermind but this year it’s included 🤷🏼♂️. Cmon Specialized look after the LED paupers 🤣
Hello, thanks for the explanation, i d like to make a question, i have a specy sl 2020 and a love it, especially i adjust Very well the motor torque and power with the old mission controll, i have been ages without connecting my bike to the smart prone and now i try but it asks me for new app , i don t know if all the settings from the old app will be lost, honestly i ma afraid of it.
When I get my turbo levo only one I'll put on low end is eco if I know my battery is low as a get home setting but trail I'll have on about 60 out of 100 and turbo I'm definitely putting on 100/100 at max possible output. Probably use trail unless I'm hill climbing
After recent update, System lock is greyed out. "update your bike to use the System Lock" with a non-functional refresh button appears. Not a great experience. Could you imagine being 20 miles into a ride and stopped for a break only to have a phone app update disabling the ability to unlock?
Hey Sam great video mate thanks Do u have a video of the Specialized bike menu when u press the +&- together a lot of people don’t know about it 👍 The km to m is handy as the app doesn’t alter the bike 👍
I am a bit confused about shuttle mode. Is that it's own separate mode like eco, trail and turbo? or is shuttle a value that's applied like power and ease? If so, how does shuttle differ from power and ease? one other thing, why wouldn't they have that joystick control where you can set the distance or the duration of the ride in the tune settings page? that directly affects the tune of the bike.
Hey mate thanks for the kind words, my best advice is to play with the app for a few days then go back and watch the video again it should make more sense it does take some time to understand it all
Sam, thanks for the vid. on the new app is there a way to add new "pre-sets" or are we stuck with just the 3 ? and is there a way to change the names of the pre-sets per chance ?
My Levo is delimited with Levociraptor and I use the Blevo app (way better) and never use Mission Control or accept any updates. 5,000 miles later, still cruising strong.
This app has still someway to go. It's looking like a good replacement for MC but after using the new app and discussing with Specialized rider Support I have switched back to Mission Control until a bit more work has been done. I however have kept the new app on the phone.
Great video - when I connect my Tero to it the System Lock says 'update your bike to use the System Lock'. Is this a retailer software upgrade, a user upgrade or a way of saying the bike does not support System Lock. Mission Control has a lock which worked fine so should I just stick with Mission Control? Also I'm not seeing the dials under the graph..... is this a bike limitation?
Does it support getting/importing heartrate from Apple Watch? I see in 15:10 that it can export rides to Apple Health but can it link to Apple Watch during the ride?
How does the battery charge indicator read when you add the range extender ? 100% or 150% ? The old TCM had a dual system with indicators of how much battery was left from the bike battery as well as the range extender…. I am having difficulty finding information concerning this anywhere with this new specialized mastermind app . Thanks for clarifying
Great video Sam I thought I may have seen on new app where you can set the altitude to align with phone. But cannot find it now. Does this function exist? Chris
The TCU ( the on, off switch ) has a number on the side of it that has to be plugged into the app for it to connect.. Unscrew the TCU and look on the side for the number !
I just got my new Turbo Levo Carbon and I do not see any display settings except the Stealth Mode on the app. Do I not have the newest app or does the Carbon not have this feature?
Yeah, I'm still not quite getting the power settings. How does the rider input torque play into things. You can set the power to 100% but you are not going to get 90 nm of torque from the motor if you are only putting in 10 watts right? I get that this is a complicated function but it's like they want to hide the complexity from us and end up making it "fuzzy" to actually understand.
Sam, Is there a way to see the range extender battery details? I just saw a total power listed and couldn’t view number of charges or details of range extender battery?
I'm sticking with the older app on my GEN 2 turbo levo. That's because I have switched over to the Blevo app which allows me all the ability to fine-tune the power levels and acceleration response, etc. but most importantly it also works in conjunction with Levociraptor which has delimited my bike so the motor stays engaged up to 33 miles an hour as opposed to hitting that awful wall at 20 mph. I'm 58 years old and I ran into some younger dudes that were semiprofessional and they were also riding turbo levo's. I said hi to them and have a nice day and then I took off. They immediately engaged in chasing me but I smoked them because they hit that 20 mph wall and I was cruising along through the dirt at roughly 27 mph. I thought I had completely left them in the dust but those little shits would not let it go and about a half an hour later I was going up this super long hill which is probably 1500 to 2000 feet in elevation gain over about 5 miles. I looked back and thought to myself, oh shit they're gonna catch me now! I gave it everything I had but they caught me at the top of the hill! I was totally laughing and one of the young dudes came up to me and he yelled at me: "dude! You delimited that bike! There is just no way!" I laughed with an evil cackle and admitted the truth. I gave those young kids a run for their money though and it was super fun and friendly and we all had a good laugh. 😂😂😂
@@SamsBikes I've a small phone with no data, SP connected to my Turbo which I just use as a display. It'll never know. And my SL tcu is sufficient. I don't need ride data. My muscles, or lack thereof, provide feedback. 😅
Hi Sam Thanks for the points of using the Mastermind TCU on my Turbo Levo Bike to its full potential, I have had for a few months now 👍 One thing everyone is asking which I’m sure you’ll know when is the new Gen 4 Turbo coming available? All the talk is of the AMFLOW 🤔 Any news you know about
Hello. I have two bikes. In one of them, after switching on, the trial driving mode appears, and in the other, Eco. How to change it so that the Eco driving mode appears after switching on without switching it on the lever?
If you have mission control already. You have to uninstall the bluetooth device from the BL list before using this app. It took me months to figure out why my bike wouldn't sync. So just be aware. You have to clean out your bluetooth connections before setting up with this new app if you already set up on Mission Control.
Same as McCrash. Both Apps are working for me. The new one installed with no hassles. And I can connect either. The old one has the jump stats which I sometimes prefer to use, though tbh I am not convinced how accurate those stats are.
@@SamsBikes also I have the 2021 Levo. So I think it has to do with the 2021 units. No one has had any issues otherwise from my own research. Specialized support helped me out big time. I had to unscrew the head unit and reenter the PIN number on the side of it. To properly reregister the bluetooth. It took me months to get this worked out. Just a friendly heads up for any others out there that experience the trouble. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Thanks for the awesome video! I was curious to see if the new App would work with my old 2017 Turbo Levo Fat Bike. It seems like it does! (Although I haven't taken the bike out to test it)
Thanks for video. Generally ok, but why my historic rides in the map looks like "Z" or "X". It looks like its not recording the trip consantly. Should i do something? Tune is great, responsiveness great.
I downloaded the new app, and just thought it would update the old one so I continued to use it. It took me a few rides before I realized it's a completely new app, and the old one still works. I've only had 2 rides on the new app, but the one thing that kills it for me is that there is no map while riding. The old app I could pull up a trail map while I was riding and it would show me where I was on the trials. I ride a lot of places that are new to me, so i rely on this feature to get around. I know there are things like strava or map my ride that do it, but I don't want a separate app. I don't know why they axed this feature. Anyway, I have about 500 miles on my Turbo Levo Expert and I haven't adjusted the tune yet. I never ride in eco mode, so I want to learn what these settings are, so I can tune it and adjust eco to something i'll use more. This is a great video to start.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful. As for your question, yes, the new Specialized app is compatible with the first gen Levo SL but any feature that are relaxed to the mastermind you won't get.
I just got the turbo levo carbon and downloaded this app. To my surprise it does not show my ride speed, only my average ride speed. How do I include that on the screen when I am riding. I got a phone holder for my bike, but the app doesn't show my speed. What am I missing? Please help.
Missing the auto start/stop from mission control. Hasn't this been out for about 6 months, I remember it was on one of replacement bikes... I am on #3 now...started out with an 22/11 bike, then got a Levo Comp, then got a 22/01 bike, so I am going backward with their support.
Question, just got my new Levo SL yesterday, I downloaded the new app and playing with the tune which is cool but I don’t have the shuttle or responsiveness options. Has this been changed or deleted from the app. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks
@@Dvkokoho I got that information from my dealer the day after my 1st ride on new SL. Not sure if you mean the new Specialized App when you say Tero 3.0. But my dealer and I did make sure that my bike was up to date and downloaded the newest Specialized app.
My wife has bought the Creo road bike. Does anybody know if you get access to 100% of the motors power when set to 100%. I was told buy the bike shop we bought it from that 100% means an equal amount if power comes from the motor as you are able to produce from your legs. Eg If the rider can only output 50watts max then setting the bike to 100% will generare 50watts from the motor. Thanks.
I like Mission control better. On this app Lock System does not work (Update your bike to use System Lock - i do not have any updates and bike came from service 2 days ago). In mission control that worked and still works.
I have downloaded the app. When I go to tune, I don’t have the graph to make my own settings. I also don’t have my total miles.my battery charges don’t show up either. I have turned my phone off and deleted the app and reinstalled it but nothing has worked
I helped assess and develop the functions on the new app. Is an organic process building from start, not using the original MC. The dev team are great and do respond to real rider input so do comment…it’s still evolving
@@rolfehorn hi I'll pass this to the dev team and see what they come up with. The objective of redesign from ground up was/is to increase connectivity across multiple platforms and the software has API to help this process in the future...
Hi…I’ve had an update from the dev team that Strava HR support is in their sights for the next few months. They have come a long way since the original …and are keeping going and investing in this platform now. Hope this helps. Jules
Thanks for the helpful and informative vid. I still struggle with understanding the shuttle mode, vs responsiveness. To me, I’d think shuttle would only be for doing shuttle runs, but maybe I’m just dense and missing something?
Shuttle mode gives you 100% power and kick in will full power immediately. As Sam said, if you want to ease off that initial kick of power in the case of not wanting to spin the rear wheel or wheelie on a steep climb start, you can dial back the responsiveness to make the motor transition smoother.
Not at all I have both installed on my iPhone, but what you need to make sure you do if you sign out of Mission Control if you wanna use the new Specialized app
Great app but in my experience the ride tracker is a bit...idiosyncratic. I have found it has an on/off relationship with Garmin watches, specifically their heart rate monitors and massively underrates the calories burned on a ride at times. Yesterday I rode for two-and-a-half hours and 21 miles in Trail (40/40) on my Turbo Levo Comp with 1000m of climbing and only recorded 639 calories! I get more from a decent dog walk 🤣
Does it keep your phone open like Mission Control, no its more info but you need to set your phone up before you ride or the phone locks out and you loose ride information its a glitch that needs sorting out
It looks like the new App is missing one thing I really liked that Mission Control had. The ability to save/store multiple Tune settings. This was nice because you could have instant access to different presets for different trail systems or types of riding.

Thanks Sam good job as always. My gen 3 Levo 2022 alloy comp doesn’t haVe mastermind. Is that why my screen shows bike status in the top right of the screen instead of the lock access? Build is 1.8.0 954 cheers.
Hey mate that is proably correct but without seeing it I can't be sure
Hey Sam great video mate thanks
Do u have a video of the Specialized bike menu when u press the +&- together a lot of people don’t know about it 👍
The km to m is handy as the app doesn’t alter the bike 👍
Great content and explaining how to use the app. I love the app and use it all the time!!
Thanks David
Where is the page to make the firmware updates (e.g. for the motor) in this new app?
Yes, where we can see the firmware version ? It's no more possible :( ??
I am a bit confused about shuttle mode. Is that it's own separate mode like eco, trail and turbo? or is shuttle a value that's applied like power and ease? If so, how does shuttle differ from power and ease?
one other thing, why wouldn't they have that joystick control where you can set the distance or the duration of the ride in the tune settings page? that directly affects the tune of the bike.
Hey mate thanks for the kind words, my best advice is to play with the app for a few days then go back and watch the video again it should make more sense it does take some time to understand it all
Nice one! Other manufacturers should do similar videos.
Glad you liked it and I totally agree...
Sam, thanks for the vid. on the new app is there a way to add new "pre-sets" or are we stuck with just the 3 ? and is there a way to change the names of the pre-sets per chance ?
Good question let me ask!
I don't have the system lock or the security feature option on my app.
Thanks! I hope that one day the Specialized app will work on the Apple Watch so that I can unlock my bike with my watch.
Hi Sam, how do i change my Creo from km to miles on the display on the top tube ? Thanks.
Hi Sam.
What coil shock do you have in your levo?
Do you have any problem with Fox x2 shock?
Thanks!
I was running the ext but I’m back the x2 yes I did have some problems with the 22 x2 but I’m not on the 24 now and it’s perfect
My Levo is delimited with Levociraptor and I use the Blevo app (way better) and never use Mission Control or accept any updates. 5,000 miles later, still cruising strong.
I don't think Blevo has System Lock ?
@@peteinozi no, it's an older app.
This app has still someway to go. It's looking like a good replacement for MC but after using the new app and discussing with Specialized rider Support I have switched back to Mission Control until a bit more work has been done. I however have kept the new app on the phone.
Thanks for the thorough explanation of the app and some of the bike features. I didn't get any kind of briefing when I purchased my Turbo Vado 4.
Hey mate I’m not sure Try and add it as a heart rate monitor and let me know it should work
Awesome video, well explained, downloading the app now 😎👍👍👍
How does the battery charge indicator read when you add the range extender ? 100% or 150% ? The old TCM had a dual system with indicators of how much battery was left from the bike battery as well as the range extender…. I am having difficulty finding information concerning this anywhere with this new specialized mastermind app . Thanks for clarifying
Great video Sam I thought I may have seen on new app where you can set the altitude to align with phone. But cannot find it now. Does this function exist? Chris
Sam, you should look into why specialized removed the JUMP stat’s which was in the original Mission Control app
That’s true I’ll check it out!
My best advice would be to have a good play around with the app while riding and then watch the video agai.
Sam,
Is there a way to see the range extender battery details? I just saw a total power listed and couldn’t view number of charges or details of range extender battery?
Sorry mate I don’t think so!
Excellent !!! With the new app how can we see if we need to update firmware? On the old app, we can see...
I’m pretty sure it just comes up with an alert to let you know you need to update!
On the new APP the battery level or percentage is always at 100%. On the old One, the level was allways the same as TCU...
Think I'll just stick with the old one. It's working fine.
Assist makes more sense than Ease.
I would give it a go because Mission Control is going away soon
@@SamsBikes I've a small phone with no data, SP connected to my Turbo which I just use as a display. It'll never know. And my SL tcu is sufficient. I don't need ride data. My muscles, or lack thereof, provide feedback. 😅
Where in this new application can I find out the firmware version of the motor? Thank you in advance for your response.
I’ll need to check that out
@@SamsBikesThank you in advance
Hi Sam Thanks for the points of using the Mastermind TCU on my Turbo Levo Bike to its full potential, I have had for a few months now 👍
One thing everyone is asking which I’m sure you’ll know when is the new Gen 4 Turbo coming available?
All the talk is of the AMFLOW 🤔
Any news you know about
Hello. I have two bikes. In one of them, after switching on, the trial driving mode appears, and in the other, Eco. How to change it so that the Eco driving mode appears after switching on without switching it on the lever?
I can´t find the motor and battery temperature in the new app?
Under “Security” there is the Word “Battery Lock”. What does this mean? Is the battery locked separately or maybe does it have its own alarm?
If you have mission control already. You have to uninstall the bluetooth device from the BL list before using this app. It took me months to figure out why my bike wouldn't sync. So just be aware. You have to clean out your bluetooth connections before setting up with this new app if you already set up on Mission Control.
Which phone are you using? I was using both apps with all 3 different S-Works without any issue.
That’s interesting because I have both on my iPhone 14pro and as long as I log out they both still work
Same as McCrash.
@@PabloOlea59 iPhone 13 Pro Max on the 2021 Levo unit. Had to unscrew the TCU and reinput the pin on the side of it to reregister the bluetooth. When I cleared out the original BT profile.
I just downloaded the app today, for my vado sl 5.0 EQ,, but I don't have the shuttle and responsiveness options showing on the app??
SL motor don't have Shuttle and Responsivness
Also my Turbo Tero X 5.0 dont have, but not SL motor here...
Hey mate that does sound strange maybe try deleting the app and reinstalling it and let me know
I downloaded the new app, and just thought it would update the old one so I continued to use it.
Thank you Sam.🙏😉👍
My pleasure!
Awesome job Sam, very well explained and interesting content. Your channel doesn't stop improving, Congrats mate😊
Thanks mate really appreciate your feedback from the legend that is The Punisher!
Does this apply on the
Model: Tero -X Full-Susp. ?
Yes mate it works on all turbo e-bikes
Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot tuning? Every time I try it pops up a message saying something went wrong, try again later
Hey Sam, I really appreciate the video on the new Specialized app! QQ: Will this app work with the first gen Levo SL (aka 2020 model)?
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful. As for your question, yes, the new Specialized app is compatible with the first gen Levo SL but any feature that are relaxed to the mastermind you won't get.
I just got the turbo levo carbon and downloaded this app. To my surprise it does not show my ride speed, only my average ride speed. How do I include that on the screen when I am riding. I got a phone holder for my bike, but the app doesn't show my speed. What am I missing? Please help.
So you have any suggestions on how to connect heart rate monitor to the new app?
Can I still connect it and show it on the bike?
New app wont do that.
Missing the auto start/stop from mission control. Hasn't this been out for about 6 months, I remember it was on one of replacement bikes... I am on #3 now...started out with an 22/11 bike, then got a Levo Comp, then got a 22/01 bike, so I am going backward with their support.
Any chance they will work with apple heart rate like Strava.
I tried this not long ago and feel Mission Control is a lot cleaner and easier to use. Not a fan.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always interesting to hear different perspectives on software usability.
Sam, Mission Control supported heart rate BLE sensors. This new Specialized App does not, do you know why?
Hey mate 100% it does but ive been using it.
Question, just got my new Levo SL yesterday, I downloaded the new app and playing with the tune which is cool but I don’t have the shuttle or responsiveness options. Has this been changed or deleted from the app. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks
Same her. Did u find a solution?
@@Dvkokoho
I did, apparently the response and shuttle options are for the full power Levo and Kenevo models. Not the SL’s.
@@DominicCompilli where did u find that info? So its not working with turbo tero 3.0 ?
@@Dvkokoho
I got that information from my dealer the day after my 1st ride on new SL. Not sure if you mean the new Specialized App when you say Tero 3.0. But my dealer and I did make sure that my bike was up to date and downloaded the newest Specialized app.
Do you know how to update without going in to service. Thnx for video ✌️
Does this work with the original sl? I use mission control now.
Amazing thank you
Our pleasure!
Sam How do i get my Specialized ANGI down loaded onto the new app
I have downloaded the app. When I go to tune, I don’t have the graph to make my own settings. I also don’t have my total miles.my battery charges don’t show up either. I have turned my phone off and deleted the app and reinstalled it but nothing has worked
How to update your motor or tcu now?
maybe go to your local dealer and ask
I helped assess and develop the functions on the new app. Is an organic process building from start, not using the original MC.
The dev team are great and do respond to real rider input so do comment…it’s still evolving
Thanks for the comment Jules from my knowledge the new app is not finished yet but getting close
Jules, I would be great to be able to see the HR data transfer automatically to Strava, like with the Mission Control app. Thanks.
Jules
Let us know when it's done. Using an evolving app kinda sucks.
This new rev app will work with gen1?
Thanks for the helpful and informative vid. I still struggle with understanding the shuttle mode, vs responsiveness. To me, I’d think shuttle would only be for doing shuttle runs, but maybe I’m just dense and missing something?
Shuttle mode gives you 100% power and kick in will full power immediately. As Sam said, if you want to ease off that initial kick of power in the case of not wanting to spin the rear wheel or wheelie on a steep climb start, you can dial back the responsiveness to make the motor transition smoother.
@streddaz thanks mate
Do you have to remove the old app before getting the new one
And i thought i bought just a bike sam lol❤
I CANNOT get it to pair up! The MC gives me a code but it FAILS every time on my phone. WHAT am i doing wrong???
Get the number on the bottom of the TCU and plug that into the app.
Does it keep your phone open like Mission Control, no its more info but you need to set your phone up before you ride or the phone locks out and you loose ride information its a glitch that needs sorting out
