By all the reviews without riding any of these I'd go 1) DJI Amflow * 2) Canyon Strive:ON 3)Spec Levo * (Would have to drop off the DJI for now bc that would require selling a kidney for me to afford top spec and not available in the U.S. yet anyway.) What?...No love to the Orbea Wild that everyone else seems to gush over?? Thanks for all the great reviews!
love the vids! your dedication to testing is for sure the differentiating factor. us riders need numbers other than just weight and watts to make decisions. i personally want to see you test a bafang m620 or m630 bike ASAP
I’m a Santa Cruz fan-boy and got a chance to pedal the Vala. Very fun bike! That said, the same day I tried out the new Pivot LT. I had to go with the Shuttle! First few rides on the LT and it’s so good! Fun and poppy enough on mild trails, then comes alive on DH. Coming off a Levo Gen3. Also great! Haha. So many good ones out there right now! Good vid.
@@kinaceman yes. Demo’d one last fall. Put 40 + miles on it. Awesome bike. A bit underpowered tho, especially with no range extender. I’d rather have the Vala, especially with only a 4-5ish lbs weight penalty and tons more power and range.
👍👍❗ Loved your list Sam. I especially liked how you (like me) still appreciate the Gen 3 Levo I have the opportunity to test ride new bikes (not nearly as much as you) and I keep going back to the overall feel of the Levo. I just came off a Transition Repeater and it was 24kgs. The TR was amazing but the Wild is next level and brings back some of that analogue feel. I couldn’t ask for more - get one! 😂
Amflow is on my top, too. But the Orbea Wild and the Rise LT are there, too. Word is the YT Decoy SL is a nice ride as well, but comes with the Fazua risks. Will wait. Love to see the Santa Cruze Vala but with a DJI motor. Seems like DJI just did a mike drop on the whole industry. At least on paper it’s leagues above, I mean power, battery range, weight, integration. Not sure about the Amflow frame but things are going to get super interesting if other companies pick this up.
Just tried the Santa Cruz Vala and the Heckler SL back to back. Vala has slightly better motor, a bit more power uphill and is 2kg heavier. For me it was the Heckler SL as a clear winner. More agile, more fun, easier to ride and suited my style much better. I'd take the downhill agility of the Heckler SL over the slightly more powerful motor of the Vala.

Hey Mark did you watch my review? the Amflow is a great Trail Ebike and Flex I didn't really notice that but when the trails got harder you can find the limit... My upgrades has made it a lot better for enduro style riding.
Hey Sam, you should try and get your hands on a Scor 6080z LT . 190/180 it's a bit on the heavy side but take it through a rock garden and no problem. Plus at 7000.00 us a good value.
Hi Sam….with the new Magic Mary’s what is the rolling resistance like? looking at some of the information online Schwalbe has said the rolling resistance isn’t the best and this is why they made the Albert, a new tread pattern designed to combat rolling resistance due to the radial construction. Crestline all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why? How many drivetrains will you go through per year riding the Dji motor with all that power? A great bike is the sum of all of its parts, not just the motor.
@SamsBikes the more power you run through anything, the shorter the life in general, right? Especially if you have the same drivetrains. I noticed I go through a chain twice as often on my e bike vs my meat powered bike, must have weak legs🍻😂😂😂😂
Not trying to be funny, but I guess people will ask twice when you say the name Propain Sresh. Sounds weird and more like a LPG Propane leak somewhere..
👍The Rotwild EXC Ultra seems to be the most Interesting bike for me to test, because the rear suspension I guess would be real smooth ans soft, and would not affects the rider negatively as much as a bicycle with a short swingarm😋 I guesses......🤔
So, 9000 euros in Australian $’s would come to. $14,626.71. Surely that’s not right? If it is then some of those bikes are worth more than my vintage airstream and car put together. That’s highway robbery.

A great bike is the sum of all of its parts, not just the motor.
I’m actually not sure about that the power delivery is so smooth on the DJI but only time will tell
@SamsBikes the more power you run through anything, the shorter the life in general, right? Especially if you have the same drivetrains. I noticed I go through a chain twice as often on my e bike vs my meat powered bike, must have weak legs🍻😂😂😂😂
Nebo Peak by Ari.
Amflow or Nicolai
Good call
Trek slash plus
Yea na not with the TQ for me
Have to go Trek Rail for CX but it also adds 10lbs to the rig
None of these bikes have enough travel. Crestline getting close...
For me to much travel can make a bike boring you need big ass trails to go with it
@@SamsBikes My Voima begs to differ...
is Rail + not 2025 ?
Rail seems heavy and boring 🥱 if I’m honest
Waar is de nieuwe trek rail
Not trying to be funny, but I guess people will ask twice when you say the name Propain Sresh. Sounds weird and more like a LPG Propane leak somewhere..
yep kinda a strange name but killer looking bike
Pivot
Yes Sir
👍The Rotwild EXC Ultra seems to be the most Interesting bike for me to test, because the rear suspension I guess would be real smooth ans soft, and would not affects the rider negatively as much as a bicycle with a short swingarm😋
I guesses......🤔
Totally mate that’s what I’m thinking 🤔 I really hope I get to ride it next year
Nicoli due to the belt drive
So, 9000 euros in Australian $’s would come to. $14,626.71. Surely that’s not right? If it is then some of those bikes are worth more than my vintage airstream and car put together.
That’s highway robbery.
check all highend bikes these days thats what they cost.
@@SamsBikes
I must be really out of touch. But in saying that, you do have some really nice looking bikes on show. So, thanks for the heads up. Appreciate your response..
Why not the Orbea Rise?
So many great bike in 2024 and I’m sorry these are my favorites
Anything with a MGU
Have you tired one!
@ no, but it’ll be on my next bike
Sam love the reviews but as all these bikes get smarter, need a new category in the reviews that is the companies cyber security credentials and their personal data privacy policies.
good point
No Rail?
Bulls VUCA EVO AM 2
No Whyte Elyte bikes?
No Orbea....
not this time
No Trek fuel exe?
You're recommending bikes you haven't ridden?
I try and do my best to get all my favorite bikes maybe next year I will thanks for your support
Random opinions mixed with marketing. How can Sam include bikes that he did not test rids?
I try my best for you riders to give you my pick of top ebikes for 2025... maybe next year I'm bigger and cn test all the ebikes I want until then this is how ill do it.
NO MONDRAKER???????????????????
There’s only one😂
which one haha
@ Amflow 🫵
The rocky mountain altitude powerplay should've been up there stunning bikes with a superb dyname 4.0 motor rid the amflow and od say its on par but with long term reliability can't say that yet about the avinox
Sl montara?
Yep looks good
How did crestline manage to fit the VPP but not Santa Cruz. People call my crestline a fake Santa Cruz, I say it's more Santa Cruz than a santa cruz itself.
That’s a good point
Considering that the people who started Crestline all worked for Santa Cruz, it is the poor man Santa Cruz
And VPP sucks balls. The links rotate in opposite directions and cause massive pedal kickback
Ibis oso. Does not even make the list. 🤔
AMFLOW…… and it’s not even close.
yes
hahaha
