Today, Dr. Annapurni Subramaniam talked about everything from the center of the Milky Way to details about our solar system. We touched on topics like time travel possibilities and the reality behind the movie Interstellar. Furthermore, we discussed the reality of aliens and everything related to the black hole.

She is an amazing scientist. Another tidbit. She is a terrific violinist too. Lovely to see such podcasts from such eminent people.

1. follow conferences and research papers.
2. Make sure your astrophysics basics is clear without any fuss (physics, astronomy and math)
3. Have patience and discipline to learn everyday.
If you do all three you will succeed my friend.

@@vice_captain_1000sunny give CUET UG and get enrolled in BSc Physics. Then prepare for National level MSc Entrance exams like IIT-JAM/JEST/TIFR. While doing MSc keep Astrophysics as your special paper in your final semester of MSc. Then go for Research in Astrophysics in Research Institutes or IITs or Central Universities.
Dr. Annapurni is such an inspiration. would love to see a movie on her life journey or a podcast

Highly appreciated to bring such an exceptionally talented person. I loved the whole story because of my interest in this astrophysics and cosmology. I felt, you were breaking the flow of the conversation by trying to connect diverse area. Rather than a planned set of questions and readings, if you could go with the flow with some + and - questions as a catalyst to ignite her knowledge hub(Just my suggestion), especially in the middle portion. Brilliant video. Please bring more people. Expecting Dr. Soman, such an innocent and inspiring person.

Loved Dr Subramaniam's talk on Shortcast over Coffee! It's actually a little ironic how close on the heels of each other the two interviews got published. Almost seems like this channel might have gotten the idea from Shortcast over Coffee channel.
Also the Shortcast interview was of a higher quality.

That was one very stimulating and amazing conversation Ranveer! Hope you can bring more astrophysicists and also explore the other mysteries of the Universe such as dark matter and dark energy, also that the observable Universe is just 4% and that some black holes are so massive and over 13b years old that their origins defy the big bang theory. These were all shown on Discovery Science programs. Would be interesting to get some insights from experts on your podcasts. Keep up the great work! Thank you!
