Great review. Is it as quiet as the Samsung Tab S8 pen, pretty much silent? In a meeting I'm not a fan off the standard Surface Pen as it's noisy when the harder plastic nib makes contact with the screen - like every word!
Another great option I found is the RENAISSER Raphael 520BT @ 41bucks, great performance, great battery performance, fully charged in 15 minutes, almost a year using it and I have charged it like 3 times, great option and there are other alternatives, the RENAISSER company makes a bunch of products as similar to the original as possible, also saw the surface keyboard clone but i havent checked it, great video also! edit: great durability also, I have dropped it like 10 times and still working lmao

I own this and the Raphael 530. Very good alternatives to the Slim Pen 2 and covers all the use cases for digital art. As someone who tends to lose pens, going with $40 options is great!

It's new since I had to replace my old Surface Pro 4 after it died, and for some reason I can't draw as smoothly with the Surface Pen on my favorite art program, Medibang Paint Pro, like I used to on my Pro 4. I know you say you mostly write instead of draw, but if you were to draw with the Metapen M2 or maybe even test it out on Medibang or any other free art program, would you get better results than with the Surface Pen?

so my problem with this pen is that the pen draws lines even though I´m not touching the screen with it, just hovering over it. Any ideas?

@luisferpajarito I don't think it matters. Meta pen is also good but nibs might be harder to find replacement for
