Hi everyone, Here is my new video about the movie Black Panther, and the character of Erik Killmonger, it's been a long time since I wanted to make a video about this character, but between my problems with SVP and my inability to find the movie in 5.1, I I had trouble doing it, but finally it is there, I think this character is one of the most interesting of the MCU, and I hope to have managed to offer you a nice video. I hope you'll enjoy it

Some view killmonger as a villain, a mad man or a monster. But he is so much more. He is a forgotten prince, a survivor, an orphan and even the savior of Wakanda. Killmonger was everything the people of Wakanda didn’t want to be. He showed them that he was their future if they didn’t change their ways and come together as one tribe. In the end he gave his life for his kingdom and his father. Just for the wrong reasons but still in service to those he was loyal too. His race. RIP to Killmonger, a fallen king of two worlds.

He became King in the comics.
There's a dope 5 issue comic series that blends his old backstory with the MCU look. It's awesome. It even has Kingpin, Bullseye, and Black Widow in it.
The world isn't so black and white, light and dark,good and evil this movie reminded me, they fought because of their father's sins.
So much of tone and mood and atmosphere comes down to editing and music choice. I didn't realize that until now. Some of the lines and scenes hit harder to me now than they did in the theater. It's kinda preferential and subjective but hats off to you sir!

It’s really sad, today I spoke to a lady from Nigeria and told her I am Nigerian but raised in the US and to wanted to go back to visit. She was shocked and couldn’t believe me at first by me being American and I didn’t know much of the culture. It’s interesting that some Africans are shocked to find out we want to connect to the motherland and should help us embrace that more.

I did a university paper on Pan-Africanism, (im white british but its a West African history was a compulsory module), and according to my tutor it was one of the best she had seen but simplified so its not one of those fancy smancy history papers that not even other historians can understand. If I knew how to upload it as an online pdf I would though, feel like people would like it if they are passionate towards this sort of thing on cultural heritage and identity

I feel so sorry for Killmonger although he killed countless lives without mercy. He had such traumatic events happen in his early childhood that he adapted to what he saw, and what he saw was the way to go.
A child who is not embraced by the village, will burn it down to feel it’s warmth
A truly underrated villain. Totally respectable. True to his ideals. I dont think anyone can blame him for walking the path he chose. I feel like he really did get the short end of the stick when it came to life, and he did everything he could to make it right in his eyes.

WLT 30 If Thanos had created an infinite number of renewable resources. Eventually life would’ve grown beyond the physical bounds of a planet to hold it. Forcing it so seek out other places to physically live. Which would eventually lead to conflict for space.

I can say one thing. Big Wow. Black panther belongs to my favorite films, just because of characters and Erik belongs to my favorite anti-heroes. It would be amazing to see his sequel. I am glad you did this for him, its well done edited and quotes are on point. My favorite part was 1:45 - 2:18 that was really epic how you connected the fight with his dialogues. Man good job

Michael B Jordan absolutely killed this role. This character is amazing and it would be nice if they described it even more in the movie. But other than that. He deserved better.🥺

Erik Killmonger is the saddest personal story the MCU has ever brought us, imo. All he was, and this is evident when he visits the astral plane, was a scared little boy from Oakland who wanted to live in a world where he didn't have to be scared anymore. And he was willing to burn it all down if thats what it took.

I think he's a great villain in his hypocrisy. T'challa was right. Erik became what he said he wanted to fight. He let his pain interfere with his purpose and failed to help anyone, he only hurt. It's annoying as hell in context, but excellent storytelling.
Right on point. Maybe if he didn’t let his anger and pain take over, he could’ve been a hero in his own right. He ultimately became the people he hated so much.

At the end of the day, Thanos, Red Skull, and Ultron just wanted to kill a bunch of people. Killmonger had an actual goal, liberation.

The first time I saw Black Panther, I left the Cinema very confused....
The trailer made it look simple. T'chala = HERO and Killmonger = Villian. While everyone left the Cinema excited, I went home feeling guilty because I sided with Eric "Killmonger" Stevens. He last words cut deep..

He was the only marvel villain I wanted to live on. He could’ve been a lot of help in the Infinity War. Imagine two black panthers fighting alongside each other... now that would’ve been cinematically beautiful.
