A truly underrated villain. Totally respectable. True to his ideals. I dont think anyone can blame him for walking the path he chose. I feel like he really did get the short end of the stick when it came to life, and he did everything he could to make it right in his eyes.
I feel so sorry for Killmonger although he killed countless lives without mercy. He had such traumatic events happen in his early childhood that he adapted to what he saw, and what he saw was the way to go.

Erik Killmonger is the saddest personal story the MCU has ever brought us, imo. All he was, and this is evident when he visits the astral plane, was a scared little boy from Oakland who wanted to live in a world where he didn't have to be scared anymore. And he was willing to burn it all down if thats what it took.

Killmonger was the better character in black panther because he was the only one with a compelling and relatable motive, an honorable end goal (even if it was heavy handed) and literally worked his ass off to manifest his vision. It amazes me how many people don't realize that. In real world comparison, Killmonger struck me as the outsider who infiltrated the elites by using their own 'rules' against them. He's less a villain and more of an anti-hero to me.
