I know how you feel, Kay; I’m also about to leave a home of 25 years and am doing so with a very heavy heart (and the world’s most nervous cat). Trying to reframe the stress and thinking about all the positives, beautiful new area to explore, curating a new living space, but it’s a LOT. Crazy when you think of the amount of time it takes to complete all the legal stuff in the UK and then all of a sudden it’s go, go, go. I wish you well in your new home. 🏠 ❤

Ah Kay. Aside from having a little one, I can totally relate to this video. My hubby and I moved 2 years ago and we completed and exchanged on the same day... yep, stressful. We picked up our keys at 7pm and, I just can't describe that feeling. I wish you and your little family all the very best in your new home xxx

Totally know the feeling. Long long wait, then really short notice. Moved hundreds of miles after 50+ years in the same house. Decluttered, downsized. Still doesn’t feel like home, but it’s only been a few months. Wish you well in your new home.

Its sad to leave the home you poured so much love into, but as the family grows so must the home. I've bought and sold many times over the years and never had a moving date that went ontime. Congratulations!! Exciting for you to have more space but I did shed a tear, about all the memories you both have shared with us, making this your home. And mainly thinking about the new owners changing the garden. Brought back emotions of sadness of my own move two years ago, selling our home we built and raised our children in. As hard as it feels in the moment the excitement of the new home and the new memories that will be made is worth it all. We moved from the North West to across the country to the south east, (US) not just leaving a home but family and friends. But I have loved all the changes and adventures it has brought us. Look forward to seeing your new home and adventures ❤

When we leave homes in Switzerland they normally expect you to clean things nobody usually thinks of, the standard is super high and detailed and many expats are dismayed when they think they‘ve cleaned 😂 I‘ve heard so many stories. I‘m sure you‘ve done a good job, I‘m sorry to hear that it‘s not normal or usual in Britain, the homes I know are mostly very clean 😮

The house suited your needs from 2 to 4 and then to 5. Cant wait to see the new home content. My biggest regret from my last move was I didnt take cutting of my hydrangeas. Good luck in the new home xx

I always leave looking at this until Sunday...I couldn't wait when I saw the title 💜Its always an emotional time when leaving a home that is loved 💜I found it very stressful and told myself I will never move again 💜I have moved four times 💜I am now staying put 😊💜💜Can't wait to see your new home 💜💜 yes its a bit sad leaving, however you will make new memories in your new home 💜💜its a new chapter to look forward too 💜💜
House purchase moves fast in UK. In Belgium, you don't get the keys till 4 months after you’ve send he Compromise de Vente. Good luck with it all and congratulations 🎊
