We finally got Sherbert in, and here's his unboxing! Sorry for the raw video and the poor lighting; we were trying to squeeze the unboxing in with my work schedule and before MFF.
Special thanks to K-LINE for creating such a cool character as part of their Showcase lineup, and for bringing him to life!!
this just proves that people of all ages are in the furry community. it's wonderful.

Sorry if i offend you but i just wanted to say this. I love the fact that someone your age is still in the furry fandom with their family and has a kawaii kemono character! I love your personality and how random you still are at your age. Like i'm 23 but i wanna be as free and random like you are when i get older.

Thank you! To be honest, I don't feel like one because I left the fandom for a long time, but coming back feels like a brand new start! It's very different from the last time I was involved. But I'm loving it, and I hope to be a part of it for a long long time.
Also i never realized Sherbert was such a dad lmao. I didn't really get the helmet? But OML this was cute.
The helmet was not meant to be seen; I wanted to unbox from a first person perspective, but someone forgot to turn the GoPro on...so in the end all you saw was my dorky face looking like I'm spelunking for Sherbert. XD

I was at first a bit hesitant with knowing you were a bit of a grey-muzzle and one with a family but after looking through the stuff you do and having a couple laughs with my Japanese teacher, it's amazing that people like you exist! grey muzzles don't get as much attention as young furs do and I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite suiters to this day! your daughter as absolutely adorable and I can't help but smile and gush about your character and work at school! can't wait to see how the anime goes! also! do you think you could upload some un-subtitled Japanese? it would be a wonderful practice for my J3 Class and in the captions, you could put the English translations to help us understand what you're saying!

Aww, thank you so much! I mean, I do kind of wish I was younger...but I can come to this fandom with a lot of outside experience, and that's helped me a great deal with the character, the anime and everything.
Untitled Japanese is hard because most of the audience needs the subtitles. I need to learn the captioning system in order to change it up. But maybe I can create something for the class, if that's what you're looking for :D

Did you learn Japanese or did you learn English? If so how long did it take? Because in you're videos you speak Japanese flawlessly *-* it's amazing!
It's not rude at all! I learned Japanese after I learned English (English is my first language)...it takes some practice, but I've been speaking Japanese for 25 years, and working in and out of Tokyo for 10. I don't think I'm truly fluent, yet...so if you keep studying, you'll probably beat me eventually :)
I just found you today on Twitter. I originally thought you were 100% Japanese with a American Wife or Husband. This video totally shatters that image I had. However it gives me hope to me learning Japanese. :D

Which is sad, but I completely understand as well. It would be worthwhile to simply consider them as something to aspire to as their style and method is something l could analyze and learn from if I ever want to craft the suit of my dreams. i really adore that your fursuit just makes you so adorable ♥ and also that the fact a father like you is just a awsome parent to be a furry and i wish i had a family like that i would just have been way more happier going shopping every weekly in my white wolf costume ♥
Well, I don't quite go out in suit when I do my daily business. That's really the joy of suiting and being furry...you can leave it at home when you need to, and just be a normal person out in the world. But then if you WANT to, you can go to cons, suit and be silly. Like an alternate identity. Clark Kent removes his glasses to become: LEGALLY BLIND! And also Sherbert. :D
@@SherbertShenanigans aye also i can never be able to go to furry conventions with out someone giving me a ride to and back while also i can easily get like 1,000$ in 4 months if that is how much i should get to be able to afford going to conventions because no one told me and people about how much furry conventions really cost over all from just going there, eatting, staying in hotels and all

They do not take commissions. They only sell their pre-designed suits. That's actually what Sherbert is.

As soon as I opened this video i just couldnt stop smiling. I LOVE this!!! I just wish my family was more accepting of the furry fandom. They dont seem to understand that its just a hobby!! I cant make my handpaws without feeling guilty, or hiding the computer when i draw characters.

I really like that fursuit and i bought it to on roblox i wish i could get one in real life to. Or making a custom one.
Cool suit and nice colors. How many cons have you been too? I had attended one in my home state of Massachusetts called Anthro New England.
I've been a many cons, mostly in the US but also in Japan, Taiwan and Canada. I'm hoping to go to conventions in more countries sometime.
@@SherbertShenanigans I'm not a suiter and found the fandom on RUclips. I reside in Boston, Massachusetts and we have ANE here, which is the only con I'd ever go to. I went in 2020 and plan on going again this year. I had a blast, and found it entertaining but weird at the same time. This con gets bigger every year.

I don't know how to post a photo in a reply, but actually I rebuilt the original padding. Originally there were 6 pads, all needing to be tied in. Two in the legs for the digitigrade look, then four around the waist: Two hip/thigh pads, one crotch and one rear, all needing to be tied onto a belt.

Omg this is really cute . About the measurement stuff hows the procedure do the makers meet you and measure? Or you give them your measurement yourself?
+Allan You give them measurements and (in some cases) a duct tape dummy which creates an inexpensive body cast for them to work off of

Was afraid at first that if I saw this it would ruin the magic about Sherbert to me but when I saw the full suit I was like “Whatever! Still cute!”

This isn't a species. This is a unique K-LINE design, and their designs are copyrighted, so you aren't allowed to copy them. I can't even make another one.

+sasukebonhart9 Sadly they are no longer taking commissions. They are offering characters from their Showcase series. Check their website (www.k-line.cc) to see when the next application period might be.
Sherbert Shenanigans so it's only character design that were already made but never taken?
Showcase designs are designs that are created by K-LINE specifically to be made into custom fursuits. When you apply for a Showcase design, and you are accepted, they take your measurements and build that character design into a suit for you. This is how Sherbert was made!
