People who complain about dark/unique films like these are usually the same who wonder why Hollywood makes so many reboots and unoriginal movies.
Hand me the unoriginal movies, anything is better than that weird waste of time-movie.

Colin Farrell sounds so intelligent. I don't know if it's his accent, or use of words, but every time I see him he amazes me with his talk.
Because he is so intelligent.
Thats what made him perfect for this role, everything his character said was complete bullshit, but nobody dug into it because he was a medical professional

The "not for everyone" label will get me interested every time.
It is weird that while they were praising the director/screenwriter, they didn't even bother mention his name. Yorgos (greek equivalent of George) Lanthimos.
Adrenaline rush and you just wanna get the story and essence out as quick as possible, or the audience will get bored very soon. They apparently adore Lanthimos' work. A Lanthimos fan must have already known this film, meanwhile a new audience won't care much about director's name. Maybe sad, but true.
I agree to some extent, but as a viewer I'd love to hear the name of a promising director whom I wouldn't already know. And I am saying that even though I am not a huge fan of everything Lanthimos has made.

George Papachristou disagree. Good work must speak for itself. It doesn’t and must not need the name associated with it. If a work is good, then great- if it’s Lanthimos (then that’s just an added bonus). Like you for example, would you want me to always mention, “Ah Papachristou” when I hear about snowflakes lol

I didn't know that he's the type of actor who's highly emotionally invested in films and in his own movie. It made me look at him like he has a fandom blog of his movie in Tumblr or something. Which is all great btw.

At first I thought this was a comedy sketch and Nicole was trying to pee in the sink. Then I realised it was an actual scene from the film and I was like "Woah, what?". Then I stopped laughing. Now when I think about it it is just plain old scary.

Ah! They cut off at the best part of that scene where he says to Nicole "I don't suppose you have any pubes I could have, by any chance? Oh, I forgot. You don't have any left. We don't have any of the things we need". So dramatic and weird.

I honestly felt worse watching "mother!". "Sacred Deer" is just TOO obsessed with being ghoulish funny to be serious. Anyone who's seen the last five minutes will know what I'm talking about.
