The young man who played Martin was so good at being odd and unsettling and awkward yet somehow compelling. Great movie! Loved it! The music was critical in this movie in setting the mood.

It always happens, even on professional events such as Cannes. As far as I understood when I just watched the Cannes press, one journalist wanted to know how Martin did the things he did. Well, it's sort of the point of the film and the intrigue not to know. Duh.
Some people just can't handle open endings or unanswered questions in movies. Where are peoples' imaginations?

Colin Farrell has such a powerful way of describing his experience when appearing in a film that exceeds his own expectations... this film along with The Lobster and Triage appear to have left an impact on him.

This is one of the weirdest films I've ever seen. Yet I was transfixed and couldnt stop watching it. The music WAS another character. Seems this filmmaker was striving really hard to create something profound but really ended up with just a strange and unsettling movie.

People are commenting about how awkward the kids are acting as if this whole q&a isn’t awkward to begin with. They didn’t even bring chairs for the actors to sit on for the 20 minute long q&a, and most of the questions are bad.

I just watched this film last night. amazing, better than The Lobster, its The Lobster V2.0 on steroids. Enough about this crappy letterbox type review...... These younger actors all look at Colin and Nicole during their questioning. They want their guidance, and im sure subconsciously, have a feeling that they do see them as paternal figures.

Only actors could appreciate this film. I hated it...too weird & chilling...never will see any films directed by Yorgos, if this is typical of his work. If you like Theater of the Absurd drowned in horror, you might want to see it.
