Thank you Jennifer you are a blessing to both of us.

READ THIS for detailed info about traveling to the Philippines! My original flight left my home city on March 25th at 6:00AM to Chicago. Then from Chicago at 10:55AM to Tokyo. Then Tokyo to Manila, arriving at about 11:55PM Manila time on the 26th.
Upon exiting the plane, there are a number of checkpoints to go through:
    1. The first checkpoint is to verify you are signed up with OneHealth Pass. They simply ask to see proof of OneHealth (i.e the verification email you receive), boarding pass, and your passport. I believe they want to see the boarding pass because the OneHealth registration is supposed to be within 3 days from your departure date. Anyway, when I was there it was a very long wait at this checkpoint, almost an hour (and very hot).
    2. The second checkpoint is with the Bureaus of Quarantine (BoQ) to verify you are vaccinated and that you were tested with the appropriate type of test and within proper timeframe. For this you simply show your proof of vaccination (for me it was the U.S. white CDC card), negative test result and very first boarding pass. I performed the lab-based antigen test, and made sure it was within 24 hours from my Chicago to Tokyo flight (instead of my first domestic flight) just to be on the safe side. They stamped my pass with a "7 day home quarantine" which technically means to monitor yourself for 7 days, but practically it means you are free to go without any formal quarantine requirements. This second checkpoint took nearly another hour.
    3. Finally the last checkpoint is immigration itself. This hasn't really changed at all, just make sure you stand in the proper lane (for me, that was Foreign Passport). This was by far the fastest checkpoint, as it was only about a minute wait. They check your boarding pass for the quarantine stamp, check your passport as usual, and ask for the immigration form you should have filled out. That's it!
From there I took a domestic flight from Manila to General Santos. At NO TIME during the entire journey was I asked for proof of insurance, proof of return flight, Traze, or SPass. But that doesn't mean it won't happen to you. Finally I made it to Philippines and met the love of my life for the first time. Hopefully this info helps you to reach your dreams too!
P.S. Masks are still required practically everywhere you go within General Santos. Not sure about other cities in the Philippines…

Thank you Jennifer. Great job! A friend traveled to the Phil, this April. He had documentation that his work provided health coverage would be good. He was denied at the airport and had to buy "travel Insurance." Maybe he was unlucky, but just mentioned FYI. I think the travel insurance is not expensive, better safe than sorry. Personally, I don't want to be trying to do this in the airport, last minute.

So as opposed to my last trip I'm April when. My heslth insurance was 350aud due to my long past teenager status. This time zero. Also no 50aud cost for antigen test at Sydney Airport . But as you predicted they were unsure about the changes.

Jennifer I need your help! Does a covid recovery certificate count as a valid replacement of the negative PCR or antigen test? I've been fully vaccinated but tested positive for Covid 4 weeks ago. As you probably know, there is a high possibility for testing positive even 12 weeks after recovery. But I can't find anywhere on the internet if a recovery certificate is good enough to enter your country...

    • @kitty_s23456
      @kitty_s23456 2 года назад

@rob - if you are a foreigner, you must have a negative test result, else the airline won't let you board. Presenting a proof of recovery (plus positive result) is a privilege for Filipino citizens only. If you still test positive, you must wait until you test negative before you travel to PH.

Jennifer, both IATF Res-165F and Philippine Airlines both state a RAT is acceptable within 24 hours of flying is it is "administered" by a healthcare professional. All the pharmacies in Australia offer only "supervised" RAT where you perform the test yourself in the presence of a pharmacist. This is quite different as its only witnessed by a healthcare professional and this is what their certificates from Terry White Chemists and Chemist Warehouse both say. Has anyone entered the Philippines with an Australian pharmacy issued RAT certificate?

Yeah! It's so relaxed...just get a tracking app AND have insurance that will cost you at least P2000. AND get a test for neg. covid for another P3000. - P5000. AND make sure you get it before departing ... from where? AND if you are tourist status, but living here forever, so you're flying out and coming right back to Philippines in less than 24 hours...OOPS! Guess you can spend a couple thousands more on a hotel, waiting for that antigen test to clear!...so relaxed and easy!

Hello Jennifer. I am a US Green Card Holder and will travel to Manila on an ANA flight on June 1, 2022 at 1:20 AM with stopover in Tokyo Japan arriving Manila June 2, 2022 at 1:30 PM.
My question is: Is there a separate entry requirements for stopover passengers in Japan?
And with a new change in Philippines 'One Health Pass' questions, it seems that they have not taken into consideration the different time zones. Will they correct this? I am very confused.

My friends had me to go to a travel agency to get an extension. They said I was approved and gave me a receipt and the travel agency said the Bureau of immigration no longer stamps the passport. My friends tell me that I need the stamp in the passport not just the receipt. Please advise accordingly. Thank you.

So if you're a Filipino... You don't need to be vaccinated to enter Philippines? Even if the Filipino been away for over 7 years? Yet their foreign spouse is mandated to be vaccinated to enter?
How does that make any sense at all? Do I hear discrimination?
