They also give you the immigration little form to fill out and you just give to the immigration officer and show them your passport ,show they can stamped it. Then you can go to the gate.

Jennifer, I just flew back 4/11 from Manila via Narita on JAL to AA to Dallas. The RT-PCR test takes 12-24 hours for results so this is difficult to get in the time frame for departure. I took the Antigen test and had results within an hour. All paperwork was reviewed in MNL and time of test was even counted to make sure it was within the time. Again in Narita all paperwork was reviewed and checked. Advice to passengers going through Narita there was only one or two restaurants opened to get food and they were crowded. There was no test requirements for transient passengers in Narita.
Why the 4 hour before flight arrival to the airport (i.e. Manila, etc.)? Normal allowance for a potentially busy airport is arrival before flight departure time. Does that 4 hour allowance apply for someone that has paperwork done in advance for Philippines departure? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi Jennifer! Greatly appreciate all the information that you shared. However, can you please clarify on filipino tourist entering the US with regards to travel health insurance. Is this Philippine Bureau of Immigration requirement? The US entry does not require health insurance as also noted on Delta airlines before purchasing ticket to make sure that you are allowed to enter. With all my researched results that you can voluntarily purchase health insurance within 30 days of your arrival to the US so it is not mandatory. Please advise. Thank you.
@elvie - if you're a PH citizen travelling abroad (anywhere) as a tourist, you are required by the PH govt to have travel health insurance. It was mandated by the govt since October 2020. If you're going to be a tourist for long, I suggest to buy 1 month of insurance. Your airline or the Immigration Officer will check it. There are also several vlogs of Filipinos who have traveled as tourists and they had insurance (example Honeylith).

Awesome.. thank you so much 💓

Are you sure you can have Covid test on the day of your flight back to USA ? CDC website strictly said you must have your Covid negative test one day before your flight. It didn't say it's okay to have your test on the day of your flight. Please double check to avoid confusion. Thank you.
It confuses me as well, coz Im coming from province around 10hrs away from the airport. Should I get Antigen test here before the day of my flight?
