You cannot have gotten anymore in depth ...this is what I had in mind when looking for a tutorial...I actually feel confident enough to sit here try it myself
you have no idea how many vids ive watched/search to figure out why my idle was surging when i made a base map.. FKING THANK U DUDE ima take everything u did here and put it to use.. new sub for life my dude
Wish this video was around 4 years ago when I started tuning hondas. We need more people like you that are transparent with tuning stuff. I’m looking forward to the e85 ignition timing video! Keep up the good work! You deserve way way more subs! It will be fun to watch your channel grow from here.
I have an srt4. I'm selling it to finish my civic ek single cam build. After swapping the neon to e85, my dyno numbers went from 210/250 (HP/Torque) to 303/411. 411 is comparable to a 6.4L hemi challenger. The numbers provided were all chassis dyno, not engine dyno. All of that was explained just to say, Looking forward to learning differences with e85 tuning. Thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial, Very thankful you made it.
THIS IS BY FAR THE EASIEST TO UNDERSTAND TUNING VIDEO I'VE WATCHED, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!YOU HAVE TO DO ANOTHER ONE WITH HP TUNERS AND THE MUSTANG, PLEASE !SUB'D, LIKED, TOLD FRIENDS
I hope you didn't think anyone wasn't gonna enjoy this video because I definitely just watched all 40mins of it! You taught me a lot but I don't really use that program as I used Hondata. I get the jist though. I see what you're adjusting and in fact it makes me wanna try to see what I can do on my H series.
Excellent video , there are some other ones out there like this one but they are quick to jump on to the next portion without explaining it like you do. This channel deserves much more subs.
Hunter I really enjoyed the video tutorial buddy! Very informative man! This is the type of shit nobody is doing to help us. You might think this is redundant or boring but, to me its hands on and it's what I catch on to. I could have read a how-to diy 5 times and been like"huh?". (1time tutorial with you and I semi-get it.) Keep up the good work, I'm so happy you never gave up on us. I told you in the beginning you would grow and look-atcha now! "Dawg-pile-chicken-smile...Miiiiinnnt"
You rock man. I’m about to fine tune my gsr boosted hatch. Destroyed my head and had the next one ported with a 5 angle valve job and some ss valves. She runs a tad leaner than before but your videos will help me dial her in and get her MINT. Lol
Dude i appreciate the hell out of that i am building a crome tuned car right now which i have never messed with always been a ls v8 hp tuner guy but dabbling with these turbo vtec motors now and this was very good in depth informative information thanks man definitely will subscribe and like
Bro thanks for doing stuff like this. I have been trying to figure out alot with tuning and what not. This video alone helped me understand alot. Hopefully you will do a hondata s300 video. Would be awesome.
great content. Although I don't mess with crome, I mainly do standalone tuning, I found the content very informative and helpful. perhaps you can do a tunerstudio tutorial someday
Awesome video I just subscribed because of this vid. Great detail on how to tune am sure theres alot more but as u said its a great start, ur time was greatly appreciated
HunterTuned u keep it real I appreciate that, I've built plenty of Honda's but never got into tuning I have I have the demon/Neptune software and innovate lm2 thanks to finding ur channel I'll be diving into tuning :slowly" lol. Thanks again I'll stay tuned to all ur vids
Bro love the video on tuning it really is somewhat of an art and please do a video on street tuning ignition timing!.. hey bnb I liked commented and subscribed lol
I’ve been using windows movie maker from the beginning. Got adobe premiere professional a few months ago but it’s really complicated compared to movie maker and I haven’t had time to figure it out yet. I just use some free studio8 thing for my screen capture tuning videos.
Great job!! Go to e b a y and buy a crack version of crome for $15, even if you dont wana datalog you can still map trace and see where your at.. You can run other map sensors.. its a table you put in the voltages for it, might be pro only... Also when it was idling cold, you should go into warm up enrichment and fix the lean idle.. Next time u start the car you afr will be off... Your doing a great job bro!!! Keep the videos coming...
Awesome man. Im in the UK and just starting to learn how to map my H22 Prelude NA and this is helping me loads. Would i do it in the same order as you have here for NA? 😁😁👌
HunterTuned Great video, I have one question. How would your tuning of the timing relate to a non vtec motor. Would I follow your tuning steps on the low cam table, or would I follow you tuning procedure on the high cam table?
Awesome video, thankyou. Do you know what turbocharger efficiency adjust percentage should be used for a H22/H23? The bigger engine should flow more air than a b series. I am trying to DIY tune my H23a possibly at the drag strip. If i still had my GSR this video would be perfect for me.
I’m doing this on my turbo b17 and I can’t eve get it to idle yet any ideas ? I used the all motor tune to start it with the stock injectors and it idled fine but I put in rc 550s and followed your steps but can’t even get it to idle
Hey man really enjoyed the video. I’ve been tuning my own car for awhile now with CROME under my injector battery offset I don’t have the option of selecting aftermarket injectors I’ve seen other people with this feature am I missing something ?
Also wanted to say thank you for sharing your knowledge and I'm not sure if you mentioned what engine this is but I thought I'd share with you that Honda only specified the lost motion assemblies to 6,500rpm. Probably don't want to rev the low cam higher than that.
You cannot have gotten anymore in depth ...this is what I had in mind when looking for a tutorial...I actually feel confident enough to sit here try it myself
Luis Lebron defiantly agree with this
Please get a hondata s300 and kpro video up asap start to finish great video hunter awesome information

Ryan L I know!!!! Thanks bud!
I can't even explain how much light this shed on me in terms of street tuning. Especially with light throttle going rich or learn. You're the man!

Awesome video Hunter. Much Appreciated! Don't worry about the 40 minute video, I watched it twice!
Don't apologize man. These vids are great. Now we need the same video using hondata!
I love your step-by-step video on how to tune 💪🏼
Thank you Hunter!! This video has so much value! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Great job man. Can't wait for the hondata
Haven’t touched Crome in years. If only HP Tuners was so simple, lol. Good video. 👍🏻
Yea good for me to get my feet wet explaining and playing with new editing software.
I’ve been using windows movie maker from the beginning. Got adobe premiere professional a few months ago but it’s really complicated compared to movie maker and I haven’t had time to figure it out yet. I just use some free studio8 thing for my screen capture tuning videos.
👍🏿Great video, this helped out alot. Will you do one with Honda Tuning suite?
Damn the OG shop lol and yo hunter are you plugging into the 4 pin header on the ECU to tune?
Fantastic vid, much appreciated. With two more years tuning under your belt, would you change any of the advice given in this vid?
Hell yeah Hunter thank you bro and when you get a chance could you walk me through the p28 on chrome cuz it doesn't have any features
Great job!! Go to e b a y and buy a crack version of crome for $15, even if you dont wana datalog you can still map trace and see where your at.. Respect brother you sir are the man
Realy great and helpful but one ? Do u enable o2 sensor and debug mode after the tuning it's done?
I love it! Great information!
Very informative!!!! Will the timing setup you showed on the video work on a turbo d16 on 93oct?
will you do this for hondata?
Great vid! More likes this would be mint. Tuning my built turbo typer myself on hondata
Awesome man. Im in the UK and just starting to learn how to map my H22 Prelude NA and this is helping me loads. Would i do it in the same order as you have here for NA? 😁😁👌
I’d like to see some in depth videos like this with hptuners and the mustang
Onalky87 will be doing so in the future! Thanks
Tuning on a closed course with all the closed roads. Do you have a video going over ignition timing on e85?
HunterTuned Great video, I have one question. How would your tuning of the timing relate to a non vtec motor. Would I follow your tuning steps on the low cam table, or would I follow you tuning procedure on the high cam table?
Nice job!
Fuckin GOAT! took a 300$ class from hp academy and i learned more here lol. Thanks!
That’s awesome man! Glad to help!
Awesome video 👌
Thankyou so much for this video
Heck yeah subbed, makes me want to try it out
Hay I been watching for a wail wondering if u have a way to tune and new Honda to get rid of the turbo lag
This content is awesome!
You make it look easy. How long have you been tuning for?
8 years
much love brother thank you so much. what state are you located in?
Rick C Wisconsin
I hope you do a hondata video. a lot of us use it and it would be nice to see someone using the program rather than argue about it on the forums
And smashed the like button!
Peace be upon you, give you wellness, my brother. I am in Kuwait. I am in Honda. But I want to put a caliber inside the system.
Four dislikes = Four people with mental issues. Great video, man.
Thanks man I’ll try that out
Awesome vid
which chrome dealer did you purchase.
it has 3 pricing
150$
450$
300$
How do I find out what injectors are in my car, I bought it already boosted
you can decrease fuel through out the map with the fuel multiplier and without highlighting both fuel maps
zobie82 yea. Can do it either way
Best video yet! Yeeyee
Can I copy your low cam ignition table for my b18b1 non vtec turbo on 10psi - 91 pump gas ??? I'll max out the timing at 20° tho
On a non vtec b series is the low and high cam fuel table the same
I’m doing this on my turbo b17 and I can’t eve get it to idle yet any ideas ? I used the all motor tune to start it with the stock injectors and it idled fine but I put in rc 550s and followed your steps but can’t even get it to idle
Can you edit your launch control? Coz on my laptop i cannot change the value.
Awesome 👌
Hi was wondering what do you have to do this ,just the oestrich emulator ?and that's it ? Or anything else ? Thank you
What requirements does a laptop have to have for tuning??????
Hey man really enjoyed the video. I’ve been tuning my own car for awhile now with CROME under my injector battery offset I don’t have the option of selecting aftermarket injectors I’ve seen other people with this feature am I missing something ?
Did you add extra features on the map? Under plugins? If not try that. Or try starting over fresh with the p30 base
also make sure you are using a p30 edm base
Will this tune work with a d series mini me. D15b7 with y8 head?
hello i wonder if i can read the map with kess v2 and add it to crome to edit it?
Hunter, Are you tuning vehicles to be locked out of closed loop permanently?
Also wanted to say thank you for sharing your knowledge and I'm not sure if you mentioned what engine this is but I thought I'd share with you that Honda only specified the lost motion assemblies to 6,500rpm. Probably don't want to rev the low cam higher than that.
