- OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN - A little more love | REACTION (What is the keyboardist doing?)
We miss you Olivia! Thank you for the music you brought us all!
This song was a delight, not the best I heard with her so far, but defenately good! But WHAT IN THE WORLD is the keyboardplayer doing? Is he trying to kill the keyboard? That was fun to watch!
Thank you Olivia, and Rest In Peace.

What a lucky coincidence the wheel of destiny brings us Olivia Newton-John.
Right? Amazing! :D
A beautiful voice and a sultry performance as always a multitalented lady 🎭 💕 RIP Olivia 🙏
❤
She was a fantastic singer! Everything from love ballads to disco hits🥳 It is said that Olivia and Abba Frida were friends and kept in touch. Yes, we miss her. R.I.P. Olivia ❤️
She sure was! Yeah, what an amazing friendship that must have been. R.I.P Olivia ❤
I'm happy you made a reaction with A Little More Love, one of my favourite Olivia's songs. The sound, the voices, the melody and harmonies are typical Olivia. Something that amazes me is that this song is from 78, and like most of her recordings, has a perfect quality in the sound. Olivia4ever in our ❤️
Just have to fill you in on Olivia. I'm a lifelong fan since 1971. A Little More Love came out the same year Grease did 1978 and there are two videos for the song. One from 1978 and one from 1981 that was made to be included on the 1981 CBS TV Special Olivia Newton-John Physical. So being that Grease is not older than A Little More Love. It's older than Xanadu. Oh, by the way ELO is not pronounced as a word but is spoken each letter E. L.O. Electric Light Orchestra. The guy on keyboard on A Little More Love is only an act for the video. Possibly because he was in love with Olivia in the song but she's in love with the drummer just for video effects. You just had to be there back then to get it all. 😂
If you didn't know. Olivia before Grease was a Country Music Superstar with a long string of Country Hits and won every award available from the CMA Country Music Association in Nashville. Her first Greatest Hits Albums has most of but not all her early 1970's Country Hits in the USA. She was so widely huge before Grease she had hits in other Country's that weren't Hits in the USA and many of her Country hits crossed over into the Pop Charts. Then Grease came and it shot her into the stratosphere Superstar status.
This song was her first single after her image change right after "Grease" in late 1978. This video is from 1981/1982 "Physical" period and it is all mimed to her actual track. The background singers are all lip synching to ONJ's own vocals as she did all of the backing vocals on this song. It is one of my favorites and I love her first official video for this song from 1978. It is the exact same song. Please check it out: ruclips.net/video/qB9iXbUe3K4/видео.html. Definitely worth it!
She has always been my favorite singer. I do prefer her pre-physical music, but she is so amazing. She's now singing with the angels.
First time seeing your channel after searching for Olivia reactions. She's a real superstar. Impeccable vocals and musicianship as a singer. Those eyes and the way she conveys a story, draws you in every time! Olivia layers those lead vocals and backup with multitrack studio techniques. She worked with excellent song writers, producers and studio musicians. Her catalog is diverse and extensive. My other favorite artist is Electric Light Orchestra, or ELO, who worked with Olivia on the Xanadu Soundtrack. Please react to ELO!
Your reactions are great and quite entertaining! Thanks!
Thank you Martin, and welcome! 🙏🏻😊
Just a very special woman with a beautiful voice.
She sang so many beautiful songs.
And a sweetheart, of course 💫
Thank you David we will never forget her 🤍🕊️
That is so true. Thank you! =)
This song was released just after Grease in late 1978. The video was recorded in 1981 for a TV special promoting her album Physical. So the look is 80s, but the song is 70s.
RIP Olivia Newton John
The video was made in 1981 but the song is from 1978
Oh my sweet sexy ONJ. I have been in love with her since “If you love me let me go” in the 70s. Her material got better and better, thanks to the amazing John Ferrar, Barry Gibb and Jeff Lynne. She was a powerhouse and beloved around the world.
ABBAMAN.. so glad you are getting to hear more of onj. she as a godess with a voice untouched throughout the seventies and beyong. i collected her music since i was a teenager the same time period of ABBA. they rivaled each other many times on the charts. in fct olivia gad a tv spcial for unicef abd ABBA ans andy gibbwere her guests/ you can see this show on yt/it still hasnt sunk in that she's gone/ at least we has her amazing discogrphy yo listen to. you have much to discover about her. enjot it david.you will. next up abba dance while the music still goes on. one of their best album tracks ever
Sorry for the late reply Gene! Thank you! And go have a look at the "Dance while the music still goes on" reaction, its up now ;) have an awesome day Gene!
Fun fact: Frida from ABBA met Olivia in late 1981 in Stockholm when she presented her "Physical"-album there. Olivia had this new haircut with short hair and headband while Frida still had long hair. Now guess who - just three weeks later - appearead with short hair and headband in the "One Of Us"-video? Hint: it was not Agnetha😉
Love Olivia since Grease and I love her in Xanadu ❤❤❤❤
A beautiful lady inside and out, very talented. She has a great little show with ABBA and Andy Gibb you should check out.
Exactly, it's from her 1978 (I guess) ABC Special.
Hello again David, yes, this song is different from the other two and she WILL keep on surprising l assure you. Still cannot believe she is no longer here with us but her gorgeous Spirit lives on. As for the keyboardist 🤔 Either he was having a bad day OR he was just trying to emphasise the guitar 'pops'( my musical term is totally made up!)😂 OR his pants were too tight..Who knows!? Thankyou Wheel of Destiny.
Take care bello! Ciao!
🤗😎🎹🎸👖🤣
Yeah I bet she has a lot more in store for me to hear! May she rest peacefully. Yeah I don't know what he was doing to be honest but that was erratic 😂😂😂😂 Take care Eleonora! Ciao bella! ❤❤
Hey buddy!!
I haven't heard this in a long time!!
Great sound!!
Love your face expressions!!
Great broadcast!!
Take care matey..
Hey buddy! Thanks 🤣🤣🤣 Take care!
This is a FIRE performance! It was on the charts forever. So glad to hear that a new generation can appreciate the massive talent that she was, no auto-tune just natural talent! I had the great pleasure of meeting her at a cocktail party 11 years ago. So lovely, so beautiful and so down to earth! RIP to this angel among us, for way too brief a time!!!
🌹🙏🏻
You really really should hear Magic from her. Best song ever. Michael Jackson and John Lennon both said it was one of their favorite songs.
So true! I love Magic indeed one of her best song !
Olivia named her cat she had "Magic" she had this cat before she passed and was solid black. I'm sure her Husband still has it today.
One of my favourite songs of Olivia's. A shame you couldn't react to the official video where she is modelling, from '78.
I must have missed out on the official video. I didn't see it when I searched it on RUclips. Mabye next time thoug =)
Olivia had a 5-octave range, with total control - something few, if any, pop singers ever had (maybe Witney had it, but not many). Olivia was special. I listened to her Totally Hot album religiously as a young girl. 💕
Lol red pants guy was awesome!
I didn't notice him until you mentioned it so I went back and rewatched. Very dramatic! 😂
I forgot about this song and how much I liked it.
Those high notes are killer and she was always such a beauty. *sigh*.
Thanks for the flash back. Really enjoyed this one.
Hahah yeah he was all over the place indeed 😂😂 Thank you Tanya!
A Little More Love is from the album Totally Hot (which was Olivias first album after Grease) It came out in 1978/1979, so was between Grease(1978) and Xanadu(1980). As for the guy smashing the keyboard, they could have brought another one with Olivias money.
This is from her album Totally Hot in which she said goodbye to her image of "nice girl", which worked only in part because she is too nice really. And hot too, yes. I was myself more hot for Ann Wilson of Heart in the late 70s but that is beside the point.
Nobody is prepared for that guy...
I like the Complete Wow factory. Universally loved and a big part of my youth..
One of her best three songs in my opinion.
I love this song. One of the sexiest music vids I can think of with that slow bass and those quick turns to camera from Olivia. Oooph. Man, she is/was a gem. If Elvis is the King, Olivia is the Queen. More ONJ Mr. G, you won't regret it! - eg. "I Honestly Love You - Live"
Very true indeed! =)
I think it is her best song.
Inte hört denna tidigare, den var bra och vilken röst hon hade tur att hennes musik lever vidare 🥰
Kul att du också fick höra något nytt :D Ja det är viktigt att framtida generationer också kan få höra =)
It's spelled out E L O and I loved them and ONJ for sure!
See this is her best song to me.
@@GivenToe Myror i brallorna ?🤣😂
Lena, såg dej nyss hos Tommy 😀
@@helenesvanborg6234 Såg dej oxå! Vem vill missa Tommyfredag❤️🔥
@@lena.jansson04 det är något man bara inte får missa ❤💥
One of her best songs imho
This great song of our late beloved Olivia Newton John is coming from her album "Totally Hot" featuring "Bots against the Current" the title song "Totally Hot" "Please don't keep me waiting" and also a few other song. A recommandation to listen to the whole album. The sleeve of that album she looks like the Sandy from Grease 😁. Personally i loved this album from '78. Last year she recorded a song with her daughter Chloe Latanzzi "Window in the wall" that would be her final song that she would sing. (i made a few changes here. To the mistake i made earlier on, by accident i wrote the 80't but it was 1978. (Thanks for the reminder Legends World 😁)
sorry my mistake 1978 that is 😁
@Legends World 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but still Thanks man
@Legends World Klopt helemaal.
@Legends World Zeker wel 😁 zo zie je maar zo ver weg en toch zo dichtbij he? 🤣🤣
Luv boats against the current...her voice is incredible in that song ...
The video is 80's but the song came out in 1978.
There is a different video- it shows Olivia in the studio singing and doing a photo shoot- she is- of course- so beautiful and fun to watch and listen to- you much watch it!!
I love Olivia
I maybe wrong, but I think this is Olivia's first 'RockType' album. Getting away from the Country Music Sound, Olivia moved on to a more heavier sound. Totally Hot being released in 1979 (My College years) and then into the 80's with the 'Physical' album. Like the Girls from Abba...they can sing any type of music with harmony.
Very true! =)
❤❤❤
Pls review her singing Angel Eyes, absolutely beautiful
Great 👍💪
Hi, GT! Great to see you working thru these ON-J classics. This was part of her nightclub-themed early MTV video, so the keyboardist is behaving as directed. It's a gag I saw as cocaine commentary. The songs are dubbed studio cuts but she just kills this song, live: ruclips.net/video/TyAPNP4tE8A/видео.html On stage, 1982. The entire concert is on YT. Eyes? Oh, yeah. Her voice is wondrous in it, but it's The Look into the camera lens that still takes prisoners 40 years later. Check it out.
Takes prisoners indeed! 😂 I felt like her gaze penetrated my soul, beautifuL!
What is the meaning of GivenToe?
It does not mean anything really 🤣🤣 But it is short, catchy and easy to remember. So thats why I chose it 😂✌
Watch the 6.5 M viewed it’s better- more of Olivia and not that dorky keyboard player. Some people edited him out and put Olivia in and it is well with watching!! You will fall even more in love with Sandy!!
Great song. Keyboard dude was going wild. Maybe on some substances? 🥄🤣
😂😂😅
hello brother I found you today here and loved your reactions mainly Abba band Am a big fan. Love Olivia too and cried a lot for your passing.
Please react to our Brasilian male singer Gabriel Henrique covering Whitney, o Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
I guess you'll gonna appreciate.
Greetings from Brazil.
God bless you brow! 👍🙌
Hello there Jose! Thank you so much for that comment =) To be fair to my Patrons, all requests goes through Patreon. Mabye you could at least have a look? =) www.patreon.com/giventoe
God bless you too and have an amazing day! =)
Didn’t notice the pianist to be honest and neither should you.
Hard not to notice him, at least for me. But I guess we all notice different things don't we? ;) No matter what, the song was good, and Olivia, as always, perfect :D
Q: What is the keyboardist doing?
A: Being an ass hole.
I love this song as much as I hate its videoclip just because the keyboardist. The main reason is exactly because your reaction, that is, the guy deviates completely the attention from the song and from Olivia as if he was the star of the show while he obviously is not. I am aware that old videoclips used to be crap (I grew up watching them) but I don't know what is this. I have no idea what the producers were thinking when they did such a stupid edition and called it an official video.
I am not familiar with this song, but Olivia's voice is very recognizable. I am certain that if I didn't know it was her, I would guess it. LOL the keyboardist. And I agree it was not the best song, but still nice.
Yeah he was all over the place heheheh
My favourite ONJ song, shows everything that was great about her partnership with John Farrar. Her vocal skill is extraordinary and I think underrated. Are Beyonce, TS and Celine Dion better than her, I don't think so but you really don't hear too many accolades for ONJ till her untimely death. RiP Olivia, and now you can sing with the angels.
🙏🏻❤️
This is one of Olivia's BEST songs, IMHO .. I think unfortunately you stopped the song so many times that it would have been impossible for you to get any sense of flow from it .. I realise you have to stop songs to avoid copyright infringements, but I've seen other reactors only stopping 1 or 2 times and they don't seem to have had any issues .. Maybe try a few less stops ? .. Cheers, Wayne
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
Review Stranger's touch
Ok. i have to finally say this about the key boardist. if i was director? I would have fired that guy. He is just taking it away from Olivia, the song, and the video. What were they thinking? it's just to distracting! and annoying. Reactors are now focused on this guy instead of the singer! really really annoying!
True 😅
Song is effing great. If that's not the best song of Olivia Mr channel guy, your a dud.
Yeah theres nothing wrong with this song at all. But so far I have only heard 3 songs from her so its hard for me to know =)
Your analysis is rather thin and you focussed on the keyboard player. What is your channel even about?
I'm sorry Mr reaction man reacting to a keyboard player really ? Olivia the whole production by John Farrar is nothing short of genius the melody the lyrics the whole damn thing . Your reaction missed it meaning you failed to understand mastery of musical arts. I suggest put on some modern S....t and then listen again to it. All the best with the channel but for me I'll pass on your subscription.
It's too bad you seem to misunderstand me completely. I enjoyed this song a lot, I never said I didn't. I defenately will stand my opinion though that the keyboardist overdid it, but we are all entitled to our own opinions, no need to argue about it. You are welcome to my family anyway, even if we disagree. No matter what, thank you for sharing your thoughts and commenting, have a good day!
