I purchased this truck in February 2015, but without the TRD package. So no leather seats and of course I chose a different color. Awesome vehicle and I love it. Got past the 500 mile mark so that I could tow my camper to the coast for some camping over spring break. Even with the camper and the bed loaded down with firewood it drives like a dream. The console media center is amazing and the backup camera is a godsend, especially if you are backing up to hook a trailer. Bluetooth to my phone is great, but I can’t get the outgoing texts to send. Incoming, texts being read to me, no problem. (May be just a setting that I haven’t figured out yet) The only “issue” I have with the truck is petty. When you turn the cool/heat control all the way down it kicks on the AC automatically. (You can see this happen in the video too) So you have to hit the button to turn off the AC if you didn’t want it on. The other good/bad scenario that I ran into was getting to the catalytic converters. (To install some cat-locks to thwart would be Catalytic Converter thieves.) Bad - Pain in the A$$ to get access to install the locks as the converters are tucked up an away. Good - They are tucked up and away making it difficult to quickly cut them out, even if you don’t install the cat-locks. (I got a break on my insurance by installing them so it was worthwhile for me) The bed is great, already fully protected when you drive off the lot. No need for a Rhino-Liner. I took off the storage compartment doors and threw them into the storage under the rear seats, otherwise they will surely get stolen. (Same with the rail tie off points) I’ll only use them when I need to. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase and looking forward to years and years of Toyota Reliability. Also, I purchased from Roseville Toyota (Where it appears this review was filmed) Ask for Robyn inside rather than dealing with the sales force roaming the lot. We have purchased two Toyotas from Robyn and he is an excellent, no pressure, guy to work with. Trust me.
i hate it when sales guys rev the shit out of the car im thinking of buying like right in front of me. "listen to this baby roar" and I'm like "okay, do you have another one in the back?"
They do have a ProCharger for it to. My engine has been built up to 320 horsepower with bigger intake and bigger pistons engine been rebuilt with folmaster pipes coldair intake and thottle body and she get rubber in the first 3 gears to she been tricked out
Before buying a truck, do some test drives for all the brands out there. And do some research before making a conclusion. There's lots of midsizers out there, Colorado, Frontier, Canyon, Tacoma and Ridgeline. Do some comparison, be a car reviewer and researcher yourself because buying a truck is almost like buying a new house.
***** I don't think its that bad, I see the antenna as a safety thing, its like 2 inches higher than the roof so when going in underground garages the antenna will let you know if it will fit or not. just a thought :D
Wish they had this truck when I went to Roseville or other ones. The salesman was pushing me on a desert sand 2016 one witch that's a ugly color. So for the first time in my life I had Togo to auburn to get the one I was looking for.
I just look it a Toyota Tacoma 03 and it looks good you know I Just love Toyota and I had other cars but I drive Toyota and Lexus but you know I love the Cadillac CTS
Everyone has recalls not just Gm. In fact one of the worst ever was by Toyota that resulted in the death of many people. Everyone has recalls. Nearly 50 million were just reclled from multiple vehicle makers not named general motors.
Gm also had recalls that resulted in deaths i know many ppl tht drive gms they have so many problems with the cars they just suck in general. tacoma has a shitty interior tho
what exactly is the reason for turning on the hazard light for a review video?> i see too many people doing this for reviews and its fuking annoying as shit
Tacoma is overshadowed with the new Colorado in terms of Horsepower, Torque, Towing and Palyload capacities, exterior and interior designs and fuel effeciency. The only thing the Tacoma beats the Colorado is reliability. Even reliability is still questionable since Toyota and GM both have recalls. Tacoma is also way expensive than the Colorado. Crewcab to crewcab Z71 to TRD Offroad package comparison. Tacoma will gonna be working double time to beat the shit out of the Colorado. 3.5 L V6 Colorado has 305 HP and 269 ft. Lb. of torque. While Tacoma's 4.0 V6 only has 236 HP and 266 ft lb of Torque. The new 2016 Tacoma hasn't revealed the numbers yet, hopefully it can match with Colorado.
Whatever. Class action lawsuit settlement of $3.4 Billion makes the Tacoma a real POS; that and the 2017 has rear whee drum brakes just like the 2006. And all the Tacomas in between. Toileta sucks.
Why are you riving it up like that,, Its not your's so you dont give a S**t, And you thank that sales the truck,, I would take the one you haven't touched yet or go to another lot
Still have my 2015 TRD Offroad, purchased brand new in 2015. Not one single problem. I'll never sell it.

Even at 10 years old, the current-gen Tacoma looks as good as it did in 2005. (:
I wish the 3rd gens (2016-2019) had the same engine as the previous ones.
@@chrisginoc I was lucky enough to find a 2015 4.0L V6 4x4...My boss tells me it is a hard find with the now smaller 3.5L
Still have my 2015 SR Package in Japan. Never sold here but I love it. Almost 10years passed without any problems.
I think the Tacoma Has better reliability then the Colorado. that's why I am going get a newer Tacoma when mine hits 500000 right now its at 428000
thank you but sadly the frame is rusting away at 435000 so its pretty much gone :'(

No my dad wants a ford or a chevy sadly... really broke my heart.
Maybe when you grow up you can get a Tacoma. LMMFAO!

i hate it when sales guys rev the shit out of the car im thinking of buying like right in front of me. "listen to this baby roar" and I'm like "okay, do you have another one in the back?"
Exactly. A dork revs an engine like that.
They do have a ProCharger for it to. My engine has been built up to 320 horsepower with bigger intake and bigger pistons engine been rebuilt with folmaster pipes coldair intake and thottle body and she get rubber in the first 3 gears to she been tricked out

These are as tough as they come !
If they'd ditch the old fashioned radio antenna, improve ride quality and change to 2gr-fe engine I'd defiantly trade in my highlander for on of these
***** I don't think its that bad, I see the antenna as a safety thing, its like 2 inches higher than the roof so when going in underground garages the antenna will let you know if it will fit or not. just a thought :D
***** lmao you wont brake the antenna if it touches but your roof will be gone
I'm leaning toward the Tacoma 4.0 liter anywhere from 09-14, tough to beat their quality.
I have 2015 I love it
Thank you
Only one USB port? Need a hidden USB for my iPod.

Im confused. Your photo shows a 3rd generation. Do you get a newer one or a 2015?
I just look it a Toyota Tacoma 03 and it looks good you know I Just love Toyota and I had other cars but I drive Toyota and Lexus but you know I love the Cadillac CTS

Camerons Car Reviews, Fazlkarim Khan wants you to answer this question: Can this 2015 Toyota Tacoma beat 2014 Nissan Frontier?
what exactly is the reason for turning on the hazard light for a review video?> i see too many people doing this for reviews and its fuking annoying as shit
These are workhorse trucks but they are sooo damn expensive!!!

Is residual radioactivity from the FUKUSHITMA nuclear plant meltdown standard equipment?
Goliath X due to the fact that the Tacoma is made in Texas. No.
