- Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey is hogging national media limelight for his proactive statements in response to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. But this is not for the first time his career has seen several such incidents, which are now tumbling out of the closet alongside his ‘Robinhood’ image. Being his political ambition. On March 2009, Gupteshwar Pandey took voluntary retirement to contest Lok Sabha election. However, he could not get the ticket and then he decided to return to the IPS fold, and applied for reinstatement into service.
He was in limelight when he got involved in the Navaruna abduction and murder case in 2012 in Muzaffarpur. Then serving as ADG, Pandey led the investigation of a 12-year Bengali girl. Then the case transffered to CBI. In this special conversation to lallantop's ediotor saurabh dwivedi Mr. Gupteshwar pandey, DGP of bihar, talks over several issue. But when same officer deal with bombay administration then they should be strong in nature to deal with crimnal in mumbai as you have seen shaan movie sunit dutt killed by shakal when he deal with bombay smuggling.
