Btw during the live stream the charity ark one when one of the GSG devs debuted game play and starting telling us how things would work he literally said " No content from ASE will be locked behind a paywall" so yes this was a straight up lie, not only that but its very stupid they also added the cryo nerf from ASA which even ASA has recently unnerfed so yeah if they keep this stuff its gonns be rough

Also, console commands are locked behind a god console purchase, even the commands you use to set max fps to 60, so you need to pay just for the game to run smoother.

The game has alot of potential they just need to fix the 40,000 bugs & optimize the game properly. The lag on even the newest phones is insane. Lets give the dev team a few months to listen to the community an mold the game into something we actually want.
The problem with the cryopods and cryofridges doesn't only come from the pay wall but also from how they're used. Instead of being like in the pc and switch versions of ultimate survivor edition, they work like they do in Ark survival ascended, meaning that you need a powered cryofridge nearby to recharge the cryopods and throw the creatures out.

For players who don't want to pay a monthly subscription and are bored to death after playing Island for years, it's a good option, i'm happy with that For cryopods... I'm divided. I didn't play console versions at all, i only played on mobile. There was an equivalent system with eery elements but i didn't really use it, so in itself, i can do without cryopods. But we had the tp to bed that was really useful... I guess quetzal will be even more mandatory for f2p, even more on big maps. I can see how cryopods will give a major bonus on pvp, but won't really transform our lives on pve. And keys dynamic, yep on pvp it will be p2w, but now mobile games that aren't are becoming very scarce.
Meanwhile, on console you can edit the breeding timers/hatching speed AND you have access to absolutely free Cryopod and Cryo Fridges. And admin commands are free (if you play on single player or you're admin of a hosted dedicated server).
I dont see how this is P2W, it only gives you ability in single player, not servers. If you dont like the prices dont buy it. The keys aren’t a problem either, you can literally just loot drops to get up to 150 in a single one. By time you get to the point of being able to have the cryopods you should already have the keys to buy them. Please explore the game some more before you make a video criticizing the way the game makes money. It was known before the game even came out that they would do something like this, they need to make money and I would much rather take this than a 60 dollar pay wall just to play the game. I don’t have an issue with this in PVE, they do have to make money. However, this should be unlocked/removed in PVP, where money is affecting the balance of the PVP aspect.

Guys, it's a mobile game; this is normal shit, and yes, it sucks, but what can you do? This is actually better than the last version of mobile Ark by a mile because, first, in the last Ark, you could buy chains that boost your dinos' stats, crafting benches, revive dead dinos, and soothing balm that increases taming speed, candy, stuffed animals/toys, and pheromones that increase breeding and imprint dinos, and with paywalled server transfer tf that's p2w. Now we got some of those aspects still, but nerfed down and no more chains that boost stats and dino revive; it's not p2w anymore, it's just p2 progress faster. The only thing that is player-bound item in the game now is keys, which means if they use hackcraft, it can be stolen from them if you kill them and you don't even need to buy keys to get them they can be farm through daily just playing the game or from drops and there's shit loads of them and guess what you can tranfer to a different server and do it all over again.
And i didn't even mention about bosses lol old ark bosses were literally pay walled but now its more like pc its free and much easier if planed correctly and more rewarding.

i think its still the same in the old ark, even tho its p2w, the old ark yes its hit diff, but the revamp has the other maps now unlike before that you can only play one map, im fine with this, just my own opinion

@ Old Ark was atrocious, as much as i had fun playing on it and fighting the hackers with server admin, am glad it’s in the grave. You can’t sit and accept the fact that the game is P2W, locking engrams behind a currency is not it. PC doesn’t do it? why? because GSG is not involved with the PC/Console versions.

When you go into single player or multiplayer just choose the map you want to purchase and it’ll give you a pop up

Wildcard can just make keys earnable by completing dungeons. For example: Easy dungeons: 100 keys. Medium dungeons: 250 keys. Hard dungeons: 500 keys.

Guys, it's a mobile game; this is normal shit, and yes, it sucks, but what can you do? This is actually better than the last version of mobile Ark by a mile because, first, in the last Ark, you could buy chains that boost your dinos' stats, crafting benches, revive dead dinos, and soothing balm that increases taming speed, candy, stuffed animals/toys, and pheromones that increase breeding and imprint dinos, and with paywalled server transfer tf that's p2w. Now we got some of those aspects still, but nerfed down and no more chains that boost stats and dino revive; it's not p2w anymore, it's just p2 progress faster. The only thing that is player-bound item in the game now is keys, which means if they use hackcraft, it can be stolen from them if you kill them and you don't even need to buy keys to get them they can be farm through daily just playing the game or from drops and there's shit loads of them and guess what you can tranfer to a different server and do it all over again.
And i didn't even mention about bosses lol old ark bosses were literally pay walled but now its more like pc its free and much easier if planed correctly and more rewarding.

I think most of the players here are pc players or game buyers that's why they doesn't understand the meaning of p2w conditions. For mobile games clash of clans is perfect example for f2p how they managed to make people purchase pass , diamonds and through pay to progress faster without affecting the core play style of game.
