I live in Sheffield and this is my go to place. Really amazing food and great value. Owner is a top bloke too. Eaten there loads and never had anything less than amazing food there.
That was cracking value for £15, even for a market kitchen. All of that food was homemade and it's not too spicy to suit most folks tastes. I'm married to a Nepalese and cook this food daily, so it was definitely right on the money!
Yeah I eat there all the time and a thali with two veg curry is about six quid. Not tried the dumplings yet but they do a dosa too which is only about four quid and amazing too.
@@0-Will-0 It looked lovely and if the thali is only £6, total bargain! You should try momos.....😋 basically Nepal's unofficial national dish after dal & rice. I prefer the veg ones deep fried but the meat ones are best steamed.
Your food review was super good today. The detail you gave in your descriptions of the food definitely makes a difference especially because it made me feel like I was there. Great share.
Service with a smile, that's a 10 from me, I visit so many takeaways in South Wales and so many of the people behind the counter are so grumpy, but I also visit alot of places that have the biggest warm welcome smile that makes you go back, even if the food is mid average. 😀
I have never had Nepalese food, I would like to try it. It all looked delicious and such a lot of food for that price! A good deal I think. I love the place these street foods are in. Is like a giant warehouse, very eclectic, has all different foods. Love that place.
Some of nicest people in the world in Nepal. Great country. The food there isn´t as varied as India, but you do get some very nice curries along the way. It´s a poor country though, so you get in them whatever they´ve got to hand. As for the Mo-mo´s (dumplings) I always preferred the fried ones (as I reckon you might!!)!! I reckon this looked like a solid Nepali meal.
The food of Gurkas. Makes you fearless and strong like a lion. They should sell their bravery with the food. The British public will relate to it easily.
I put potatoes in my chicken curry. Cabbage/chickpea/lentil curry is good too. I Never use curry powder. Use Turmeric, cumin, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper. Always serve with Hot chutney and I serve my curries on a bed of rice unless I'm making just flat bread and the curry in a bowl. Then I use the bread to pick up curry. Curry at least once a week ! Yummy ! Great show. My Grandson hears your voice he starts smiling, puts down his toys and watches the whole show with me.
That looked awesome and served with a smile and napkin/utensils , unlike yesterdays offering......for street food I reckon the price to be spot on as we would share that between two of us. I always try to eat before I watch your video's but you still manage to make me hungry Danny 🤣
£15 for all that food is a bargain please dont forget the people who work hard daily to feed us with rising food costs fuel costs and rent these people deserve to earn a wage too!!
What you've said about markets is amazing. What a guy. Ashton-Under-Lyne market has some amazing eateries. I'd love you to check either the Caribbean or the Thai or Indian. All 3 are out of this world.
I live in Oxford and we have a load of Nepalese restaurants here and have done for a while! A lot of ex Ghurkhas have settled here, got allotments at the bottom of my garden and loads of them are worked by Ghurkhas!
My fave restaurant here in Liverpool is Nepalese. Da Mount Gurkha. The food is incredible, and the staff are the most lovely humble people. So thankful to have a place with such good food so close to home.
think he thinks because its on a market, it should be getting knocked out for £4-5. Had Thali like that in restaurants for £25-£30 so to say it should be cheaper because its served on Moor Market is not on really. Would gladly pay £15 for all that.
