Really enjoying your "cruising guide" videos. The focus on sailing is refreshing, and the humor is a perfect fit. To me, an ear-to-ear smile of pure joy is much more pleasant to the eye than any bikini.

Just found your channel and I'm hooked. Great content with navigation and pilotage hints. No bikini required, your lass clearly loving it. Narration is great and your sense of humour too.
Sounds like the harbour master heard your accent and assumed you had nicked the boat!🙄 He called plod to check you out! 🤣

Watching your little fine "caravelle" cavalcade the waves is amazing. Your sweetheart surely knows how to enjoy it and in the process makes me envy her. I miss the sea, here landlocked in Ontario, Canada. I hope you are enjoying the single malts! ( that also makes me jealous). Obrigado marinheiro.

just back after a week in the Clyde and remember thinking it was a coincidence, while walking around Campbelltown that a boat had the same artwork and name as the one from RUclips that is based in Conwy. We were at anchor in the bay when the poor weather rolled in though the sail in was legendary and the sail over to Aran the next day was amazing too. The forecast insisted we have a lie in and set off after lunch - amazing week.

Suggest getting to Rathlin Island next time. I keep my boat there in summer. Friendly and always lots happening on the water and off in the summer. Also good jumping off point for the Western Isles of Scotland. However, be aware of 7 knot tides through Rathlin Sound and come well stocked with essentials as island shop is expensive and opens limited hours.

    • @sailingcosiloveit

Hi Gordon, thanks for the info. Rathlin does sound like a good kick off point, well placed. Next time mike 👍

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed my sail from Ireland to Scotland with you. Looking at the conditions you had, I know it would have been as relaxing, in reality, as it was virtually. I'm definitely inspired to work on getting my strength sorted so's I can get my old tub down the Bristol Channel. I expect there are plenty of sunny days left that are offering a decent breeze. Thanks for the video..

Just found your videos, and enjoying the different approach using commentary and no bikinis! One comment - you keep referring to cable ferries but there are no cable or chain ferries in the Firth of Clyde! I noticed your charts are also marked with cable ferries, and that makes me wonder what charts you're using...
We'll be setting sail from the Gareloch in a few weeks so we might see you around.

Hi Alistair, ye I’ve recently learned they have no cable or chain. What I’m reading on C-map is their passage route. Will probably still see them as a fixed route boat just not as dangerous. Regards mike
