That teacup or teapot handle, zoomorphic,a swan or goose,it is perfection. I,too, belong to the tribe of patina. The visual experience, the tactile experience,it means everything to me. My home is filled with time-worn objects, which tell a story. More often than not, that story is long gone, only the loveliest of moments remain, left for us to daydream about. And,uh,yeah,it’s nice to hear Nicole’s voice, sweet, like midsummer honey, that which is harvested by bees, from springtime flowers.
The teacup handle is so zoomorphic, you are right! It's like a dragon or Pictish treasure ( although it is likely Victorian ). So glad you enjoyed the video Charles!
Wow fantastic finds! The different shades of blue and I love that brownish colored one with the flat top. Wonderful to watch the two of you together. Peaceful videos with Nicole’s lovely voice, Craig’s music and scenes and sounds of the beach. Who could ask for more?!?! I’ve been playing catch up because I have family here who traveled 1500 miles to visit. Your videos are so relaxing and I always look forward to watching them. Xxx
Thanks so much Denise! So lovely to hear you have family around - wishing you a great time , enjoy every moment... Envy beach is my favourite beach and I think it might be time to visit it again soon ( we haven't been for almost a month! ).... x
I think the sea glass is nice . The shell is wonderful and the pretty beach and the sounds waves and birds. Your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😮🎉🎉😅😊❤🎉
Really nice finds! I think your mystery round brown object looks like a furniture castor, I have found quite a few along on my special beach. Loved the wee duck “handle”
What a lovely day at the beach! The other people may have been looking but you still found lovely things. There may have been more white objects further from the tide line. So if you do go back check it out. Beautiful video but it did feel chilly. See you Sunday!
Its getting lovlier by the week! We're seeing the sun come through more and more and its glorious! :D Oh, we will keep our eyes peeled for things beyond the tideline to see what those white objects might be. Thank you so much, best wishes, see you Sunday! :D Nicole & Craig xo
I liked the duck handle. Cute. I always like the chunky bits, especially today the one Nicole found with all the water marks. I also like the green bottle bottom. I think it would be neat to hang it in the window so you can see the color in the sunlight. Thanks for sharing. That is one big tooth!
Nicole just watched Mudlarking in Ayrshire She was throwing down ginger beer bottles, whole inkwells and collected stoppers bottle stoppers galore. Bright red bright blue colors and yellow and quite a lot of pottery. The whole time I was thinking oh Craig and Nicole should be there.
What great finds, on this favorite beach! So many lovely chunky pieces! I’m especially drawn to the blues, as I’ve only found tiny ones. What a beautiful day for an outing! So glad that spring is here. Thanks for taking us along! Take care, and see you on Sunday! 🙏❤️
Thanks so much Ruth! Ohh blues are my favourite, well maybe it's electric turquoise... but that's such a rare colour to find!! Very glad the weather is getting a bit better , so maybe I can mothball my winter jacket for a few months ;) See you soon... x
Hi Nicole & Craig! I enjoy all your videos but wasn't able to leave comments for a while. My "visit" with you today was pleasant, entertaining, & educational... just like always! 👍🌴🏖️
Aww thanks so much Linda! Hope not being able to comment didn't have anything to do with our settings? Great to hear from you again :) So glad you enjoyed the beach trip! x
Man you found some cool stuff today! I think the mystery objects are furniture rollers on the bottom of furniture. And you were on my favorite beach! So good to see you both! Sending my love!💜🤟🏻😎🇺🇸
Hi, Nicole and Craing thank you for making and sharing another great film, its always good to see all the great items that you've found. I am in agreement of the castor of a wheel and i think the white pottery thing might be a sea worn pie bird ( though of course not all steam funnels were birds) though i have a blackbird that nicely lets the steam out of pies so no soggy pastry!
Thanks so much July! So glad you enjoyed the video and the finds... I think the 'dragon' is part of a Majolica pottery jug with Chinese design - pie funnels tend to have a hole in the beak - this piece doesn't - which is hard to see in the video. Thanks so much for your input!! x
Hello Nicole, Hello Craig Once again I was not disappointed. Such lovely shards of pottery, nice pieces of white sea shells, and the beautiful blue pieces of sea glass just perfect for jewellery making. I just can't wait to see how you are gonna use the oyster shell. Stay safe and as always Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Couple of Tescos bags and bubble wrap to protect your finds, then cart it all back to the car. How about a week off mudlarking then(load to keep you going), nuh! Chunky-sized glass to work on; lot of decent finds(spoilt for choice)!
Oh my!! The idea of staying away from the shore for.... a WEEK!! Its unimaginable!! haha!! Actually, in the deapths of winter, its a nice to imagine being in front of a fire - pouring over a table full of finds to craft!! :D Hope all is well! :D Thank you so much, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo
Loved your day today. Soon you’d be able to go out w/o a jacket. 🌻🌸🌺🌤 Loved sea glass. I haven’t a clue of the mystery items. 😂 Take care Nicole & Craig. Can’t wait to see the jewelry and mystery WHITE craft! 👻
I loved the big chunky pieces of glass you found today. They will be great for crafting. And speaking of... I've got metal creature on the brain. I don't think soldering would work on beach metal, Nicole, because a lot of it would be unidentifiable. That's okay, though, because adhesives have come a LONG way since flour and water paste. You could still use a shadow box and glue to create a fantasy metal creature from the ocean.
I think you are absolutely right , all beach metals are different origins - some are aluminium cans, brass, copper... they wouldn't hold together.. but yes glue has come a long way! We have lots of beach metal, so maybe making a figure in the future is on the cards ;) x
Aww yes! That reminds me of my first pair of roller skates... those adjustable ones, you put your shoes in and they always sort of came of during skating ;) hahah great memories! x

Really nice finds! I think your mystery round brown object looks like a furniture castor, I have found quite a few along on my special beach. Loved the wee duck “handle”
Thanks so much Christine :) Oh that makes so much sense - a furniture castor!!! I haven't decided if it's a duck or a dragon but I love it! x

That is one big tooth!
Thanks so much Karen! The kick up would look nice in a window - I tend not to use them in jewellery but they would be great for a suncatcher :)

Thanks so much Liz! I'll have to look that channel up !!! We have just filmed somewhere new and very , very exciting ;) Coming up in a few weeks! x

It's always fun to play Spot The Find because I usually can't, LOL. Thank you for a lovely time at the beach. :-)
Hhaha you and me both - when I rewatch the edited video with Craig , I can never spot the find again ;) So glad you enjoyed the day out!
Nicole and Craig … such a sublime quiet video .. lovely day for you and lovely finds 😊🌼greetings from California 🌹
Thanks so much! It was a great day out on our favourite beach - no marbles this time, but maybe next time ;) Hello to California!! x
Thank you fun trip 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Man you found some cool stuff today! I think the mystery objects are furniture rollers on the bottom of furniture. And you were on my favorite beach! So good to see you both! Sending my love!💜🤟🏻😎🇺🇸
Thanks so much Liz! The vote seems to be on furniture castors for the red wheel - or a roller skate wheel?!?! See you Sunday x

Hi, what an interesting collection, looking forward to seeing what you make with it all. Have a great week and take care.
Thanks so much Cate! We switched up the Sunday crafts a bit - they will still involve shells and sea glass though ;)
Hello Nicole, Hello Craig

I just can't wait to see how you are gonna use the oyster shell. Stay safe and as always Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Thanks so much Peggy! The sea glass is always so nice at Envy Bay - just perfect for making jewellery :) Take care and hello to North Carolina ! x

A lovely treat to come along on the hunt with you both! Very enjoyable video today and looking forward to Sunday’s project! ~Amy from Texas💙💚
Thanks so much Amy!! We switched up Sunday's project a bit , but there will still be shells and sea glass involved ;) x
Great video - the round mystery pale ceramic item with hole is an electrical component/ insulator - I have found them before
Thanks so much! Oh that is interesting :) x
Loved your day today. Soon you’d be able to go out w/o a jacket. 🌻🌸🌺🌤
Loved sea glass. I haven’t a clue of the mystery items. 😂
Take care Nicole & Craig. Can’t wait to see the jewelry and mystery WHITE craft! 👻
Thanks so much Sissi! Oh yes it's finally getting a bit warmer - yesterday we went for a walk along the river without a jacket!!! Take care :) x

It’s going to be hard to wait for Sunday’s crafting video.
Thank you so much!! We hope you enjoy it!! :D Best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo
The round ground mystery object is a caster off a piece of furniture, maybe a bed. I am not sure about the other two things
Oh! Cool! I wonder how that made its way there!
Thank you so much, have a great weekend, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo
The pinkish one looks like a roller skate wheel
Aww yes! That reminds me of my first pair of roller skates... those adjustable ones, you put your shoes in and they always sort of came of during skating ;) hahah great memories! x
The tea pot spout looked like an elephant trunk and the silver shell could be it's head.
Oh might that be an idea for a craft project? An elephant made with a teapot spout trunk!! :)
Could the large amber piece be part of an applied glass handle? 🏺
Thanks so much! It certainly could be - it's very straight and an unusual colour :)
Expect to see your new creative articles.
Thanks so much ! :)
