I just want to say thank you…I’m watching from the USA 🇺🇸 and I’m able to see so much history through your channel John that I truly feel blessed. This world of ours really isn’t so big, ya know? 🥰✌️🤍

  • @lordleonusa

Not being allowed to film seems to actively discourage donating anything to the museum

  • @paulboucher806

What's understandable about the film ban here? Surely there could have been a discussion which permitted you from getting a visual record of the encounter, it is after all a public place. An agreement to film in a restricted fashion so as not to implicate or show interiours, people etc or even a vocal recording being granted wouldhave helped a lot. I probably would have vocally recorded anyway.

I’ve recently found a bull mount in south wales. I wouldn’t have known what it was had I not kept upto date with your videos mate.

Blessings, my Scottish Detectorist friend, from this old man in Tennessee. Thanks for the updates. Perhaps, when your DEUSII was acting up…maybe you were near an overhead high voltage wire system…hmmmm. Tech stuff…sometimes they are wonky and sometimes they break. Oh well. Thanks, my friend, for sharing your awesome museum with us. Blessings.

  • @itatane

John, is there any possibility if a significant historical relic (like the bulls head) is found, that the authorities will claim/close off a site? I'm in the US, so I don't know how UK eminent domain works, in regard to scheduling a site.

  • @maureenshaw737

What work has gone into submitting your finds John. As you say, documented and conserved for future generations. Who knows what one simple find will link into, expanding the picture and joining the dots. Frustrating verification takes so long, fingers crossed for the outcome 🙌🏻

Mitzi is a cutie. I spent many formative years playing in a museum. We lived on the University campus that my dad attended. They built a 3 story museum that my brother and I spent many hours in. Your museum is on my bucket list. I could probably spend a whole day in there, especially the basement.

  • @kennethgarrow5692

I think it’s awesome and righteous to hand in item to the museum ❤good job saving history. Some of the items have been waiting 4000 years two more is nothing 😊

  • @kathyastrom1315

When we were in Scotland 11 years ago, this was the one museum we visited In Edinburgh. I loved it!

  • @shortyrogers2244

  • @rudinuissl8677

I was wondering about Albert’s bull just yesterday. In fact went back and watched the video where it was found. Still one of the best reactions to a find!
