- Part 2 involves the second half of my knee injury recovery journey.
Near the start of the 21/22 season I unfortunately got a serious knee injury. In this video, you'll gain a first person understanding of what professional footballers experience when they get a serious injury.
Injuries can be a very difficult experience for footballers. Not being able to train and play games can have a massive effect on an individual mentally.
So once this situation happened to me I challenged myself to document my journey with the hope that through staying positive and working hard day in day out, I can not only help myself mentally but also inspire others who are dealing with injuries who watch this video series.
Especially as a Psychology student, I wanted to put into action the psychological skills I've learned about dealing with situations like a serious injury and how it can have a positive affect.

Daniel, one other question. I have not healed as you have. My PCL must not have healed correctly if at all. My knee shakes a lot so it's loose. I'm preparing for surgery. Do you know any other soccer players that sustained a PCL injury such as our but had Surgery? If so, what was there outcome, were they able to return to play? Thanks.

Very inspiring ! Just curious if you ever did a follow up mri to see if the pcl is healing with full continuity or any elongation?
Would be cool to find out as your function and posterior drawer test would suggest it probably has. It pretty cool the pcl can heal without surgery.
Thank you! No a follow up MRI wasn’t required because of the tests that the physios carried out that showed it had fully healed and became solid.

and my doctor give 3 weeks of rest then i started today my rehab any advice 🤙🏻

My right knee PCL is tear.and doctor did operation through arthroscopy.4th week ago

i was PCL surgery but till my leg only bend 90 degree

Can you fully bend your knee after surgery can you sit like muslim prayer with both legs bend
I didn’t have surgery & yeah I can but it took a bit of time once I got out of the brace
