The original T8 bit is also double sided: it's a hex driver on the other end.
I agree that a T6 would have been better but at least they produce an additional bit for that. (It's their own bit, not 3rd party.)
I think Victorinox has produced additional double bits for the Champ XXL.
Thanks! Yes, I understand that T8/ T6 is a Victorinox part, which makes it all the more annoying they did not include it. Maybe it was more after the fact.
Ehm, the original bit fits most screws used in furniture like ikea. So it isn’t perfect for you, but for everyday use it is perfect.
Thanks! Yes, in my context, as per the video title, it is in regards to Knife Maintenance.
This is a really great idea. I love how you showed how this knife is perfect for a particular hobby.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thank you, subbing. I love these 'premieres'
Haha. Thanks! 😁
😂
Looks a great little driver. Thanks for the upload 🍻
Thanks for watching!
EDT - yes! I have a Cybertool M and that’s exactly how I use it. Stays on the kitchen counter, and gets used everyday.
Awesome! Thanks!
What does EDT stand for ??
I only know EDC !
Hey JC,
Great review buddy 👍🏻
I’m a big fan of the Victorinox SAK’s
but I don’t have any cybertool models.
However I’m going to have to take a closer look now 😀
Thanks for this one brother 😎👍🏻
I think you might like one, if you don't find it too thick!
I was the technical support guy for telephony related apps for over 14 years, if it was available back then and I would have known about it, I would have probably gotten one.
Cybertool came out in 2000 but I think the marketing just wasn't as strong or got overshadowed by other models.
Thanks for the shoutout... Love my Cybertool M in black plus scales. I went to purchase the T6/T8 bit on ebay several times, but only found one seller and they keep going out of stock. I'll find one eventually. 😅
You are welcome! I just went to the link I gave and it is out of stock. Someone must have watched my video 😅
@@urbanknifeguy That's a good thing. You are making waves! 👍
Great review! Purchased one of these when I found out they would be discontinued (the only place you can buy them in the uk now is direct from Victorinox). The only three issues that stopped me daily carrying this is the lack of torx security, I also find the knife and bit driver hard to access being next to each other and the lack of scissors. Still really like it but can’t make it my edc
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Valid points! Agree on the scissors.
You can buy the T6 bit separate to the knife.
Yes I did. Thank you!
Hey there ... What does EDT stand for ?
"Everyday Table" 🤣
@@urbanknifeguy no waaaaay 😂😂😂
You know my answer..... "Almost perfect" because it is not a Swiss Champ!!! :-p
Haha... I think the Cybertool M or L beat the Swiss Champ for Urban EDC.
@@urbanknifeguy O.O how dare you. LOL
Sorry, unsubbing. Can't stand these 'premieres'
No worries. Though subbing is not a function of premieres. 😅
@@urbanknifeguy I unsub from all channels who use this feature. I do like your content but I absolutely abhor this so called 'feature'. Sorry to go. Good luck to you.
🧐
Unsubbing immediately because of that?!?
Not unsubbing, but I get that the premieres thing is funky. I don’t like it either. Doesn’t provide any value to me and a simple notification that your video is available is sufficient.
@@tangerinesails6207 Yup, whatever happened to just sending out a simple notification. Isn't the whole point of the internet, and especially youtube, is that you can watch whatever content you want instantly? Putting on this artificial schedule really grinds my gears.
Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to make these types of comments, but like I said, I actually do like his content. I just can't abide by these "features".
