hellooo this is so helpful thank you! i just need help with something..the vtuber i bought came with textures (like different designs) and i was wondering how to change textures? thank youu
Hmm Im not so sure what you mean by textures. Like different outfits? or different textures for the same parts of the model?. Either way! if you want to make something change or "turn on and off", like a toggle, you need to create it in live 2D first within a parameter, then you can create a toggle on Vtube studio with that parameter! hope that helps!
Hello! I followed most of your tutorials and those were very helpful. However, I do have a question. Can I also add extras like eye physics and clothing physics and will it normally work with your tutorials?
First of all, thanks for the great tutorial. Second of all: YOU CAN USE HAND GESTURES AS BASICALLY EXPRESSION HOTKEYS??? That was totally new for me and now gives me this really funny images of vtubers gesticulating like insane people to make their models frown or cry, like having an invisible puppet on a string hahahahaha Edit: Also, I got the problem that I had no texture atlas? I guess I missed out on something important? 😅
@@Inkugaki_Live2D I saw you had a video on the texture atlas, so I followed that and everything works :) Just sad that my webcam sucks, so my tracking also sucks hahahaha but I'll change that sooner or later
Your tutorials have really helped me out! Ive gotten almost everything done with little trouble thanks to you but I've ran into a small problem. When i import my model to Vtube studio, the XY face rotations dont work at all even though on Live2d they seem to be perfectly okay... I'm not sure what has gone wrong and I can't really find an answrr anywhere, any ideas?
Im really happy to hear that my videos helped you! I'd check the parameter section on Vtube Studio, go to Face Left/Right Rotation and Face up/down Rotation and check the outputs. There you can add your head rotation parameters and check if it works!
Texture atlas insead of the model? I've nerver heard of that issue before... You can go to VtubeStudio's twitter and look for the Discord server, they might be able to figure that problem out! Hope that helps! :D
Oh, wait- Nope- That was my bad- It works now! Thank you so much for all of your amazing tutorials!! I'm just gonna fix my model a bit, and it's complete! Very excited to use this ^o^
can you make a video on how to copy the shape of the left eye to the right eye because it is very difficult to do it one by one and sometimes the results are not symmetrical pweeseee❤❤
i made a medium complex model and exported the default way... no physics. Tried changing Export version and none of those worked, every time i load into VtubeStudio it just crashes. I even dowscaled texture to 2K. And it wont show auto setup for parameters... I get the same log message every time. Model should be smaller texture size or not compatible with SDK. Do you happen to know what could be an issue? i dunno what else to try
Hi, if you have trouble with the physics export, make sure you have the ''export physics'' check box so you can generate the designated json file. As for the Vtube Studio Crash.. I've been looking around for a solution and couldn't find anything. Some other people had similar problems on reddit but no luck with answers. I'd sugest asking on the Vtube Studio Discord, you can find them on twitter and hopefully they can help you troubleshooting the problem. :/
@@Inkugaki_Live2D thank you for the quick reply! been following your live2d tutorial to the end. it was great. but i think theres maybe a problem with how many deformers i have, cuz i barely have 40-50 meshes in the project. i believe its maybe issue on my side. ill try to redo the project but in a simpler manner. and then trying to see if vtstudio still wont recognize the model. ill check their discord and twitter for more info. thsnks a lot!
@@monochroma3803 No problem! I'm happy to hear that my videos helped you! Also I hope you can find a solution! BTW I'd try making a new live2d file with the same psd, make the texture atlas, maybe rig a simple part to move from side to side on head x and export it right away. This way you can see if there's something wrong in Vtube studio. Or if the Atlas is too big. The mesh cout shouldn't create problems like this. 🤔
So... I was following your tutorials (I just finished the face today, thanks you helped a lot...) but I just noticed you're inKUgaki and not INUgaki as I misread... 😭😭
You have to set up the parameters, either automatically or from other model. If the window never popped up when you loaded your model in for the first time, try reuploading it on the Vtube studio folder for models, then select "auto set up" and it should move with the basic vts parameters.

hello, I need your help, I followed your tutorial, but when I want to export my vtuber like you, I can't check the box "export physics settings file" I try to find but I can't find someone could help me please? Thanks in advance, I'm desperate
Hi! that's weird, you can save the vtuber model without the physics and then save the physics separately, maybe that can fix the problem! then you just need to put the physics json file on the same folder of your vtuber model and it should work. hope that helps!
hmm, it shouldn't be that way. If you used diferent parameters for the eyeballs the program is not going to recognize the parameters from the start. Check on the character configuration on VTS, go down and look for the Eye X, Eye Y (input/output) and check if the output parameters are the same as your Live 2D parameters for the eyeballs, and if not, then just change them acordingly! hope that helps
@@Adeec I just got the same issue with a model I'm rigging and what I did was lower the input from the "eyeball X" and "eyeball Y" in Vtube Studio. Try going for -0.8 to 0.8 and play around with those numbers! It made my tracking more responsive :D
