- This is a remake of my first VTube Studio Tutorial! It is a little outdated as well as a little wonky, so I quickly made a new one! Feel free to ask questions in the comments below!

thank you so much! I finally got some kidn of movement on my model altho it randomly stops after a few seconds >-< might need to tweak my lightning or smth but this video helped a ton!

You can find lots of people who do commissions for Live2D models on Twitter! I do them as well! Most people will do either just the art or the rig, so it can be pricy, however I do both! As for custom ones that are cheap, basically that just means you have to make your own model! I have lots of tutorials/vods on my channel about Live2D model making, as well as there are a bunch of other videos and tutorials from people all across RUclips!

Question, can you use a ipad or something? To control your hot keys while you're streaming, so you can change your expression or add something without having to miss click??? Whike your phone tracks uohr face
My model doesn't move when I hit connec to to PC, do you know why?
My phone does connect to my PC but fore some reason the face tracking doesn't work

Was having some issues with my phone, turns out that I needed to activate the server on the PC app first followed by the phone app. It works with Android, no idea how much better it would be with an iPhone though (personally using my beat to crap S9+).
Im clicking on camera calibrate button but its not using my camera doesny show my face its only shows pink background and im sad that i dont have pc to use this app perfectly
Been trying to get my pc camera to work also D: Cant upload my model either. Have you had a hard time with that ?

@@Superfire00m so there is no solution,its normal just face yiur camera and lcick calibrate it should show a pink bg and thats it,it calibrated your face now!

I can't seem to upload my model correctly?? I made a model and did the texture atlas (?) but when I copy the file over to Vtuber studio, my model doesn't appear?
All files need to be in the folder for VTube studio. Did you also export the model for runtime?

iPhone works the best for tracking! And as far as I know, yes. Tho it’s been a while since I bought the mobile app so it could have changed

i dont know if you know the answer to this already, the only thing you need vtubestudio pro for is to be able to have your phone connected to the pc for unlimited time

You can either screen share the VTube studio window to discord, or make sure to turn on the virtual camera setting in VTube studio and use it as a camera

The model needs to be on your computer for it to load
My pc model is not automatically matching my mobile set up. I had to download the model again on pc and its set to default. How do I get it to match mobile seamlessly? Thank you very much RennyBoy!
I downloaded both models to both devices (mobile and steam) both settings do not match. In your tutorial it just seamlessly worked, you connected and it instantly perfectly synced up. I thought if I had it set up perfectly on mobile it would match everything it needs to work on PC. But I dont have a microphone for PC so what is the point of synching mobile to pc when it does not match perfectly?

How do you have the eyes track the mouse?
Find the Eye X and Eye Y params in Settings > the Person Icon. Make the Input for each of them the Mouse X and Mouse Y respectively! Tada~

So i have compared my phone and laptop and i think both of them are good but my phone can capture my eyes and mouth better.. And i would like to ask for your suggestions before buying the Pro version of the Android Vtube Studio. Is it worth it?
i used an android phone for a while when i first started using vtube studio. It worked well despite not being as good as iphone. I think if you do not have access to one, then android pro is a very good option. from what i remember its like, $20 something CAD and is just a one time purchase!
@@Renny_Boi im thinking of streaming with my android phone too but vtube studio doesn't let me use face tracking through usb on android, only wifi. when i try it through wifi though its fairly laggy so i was wondering if there was any way to make it work like a plugin or something similar? thanks for the guide!
@@MoonMarshmallow I’m not sure of any plugins that could make your android work properly. The only other option you have is an Apple device or a webcam for your computer. Those are the only ways you can connect as far as I know

If i have models on my phone does it go on my pc then? (Because i downloaded a model and it got deleted on a website and i cant bring it back but it stayed on my phone)
While I'm not entirely sure, you can likely export them into online storage like Google Drive and from there download them to your machine.

Can you set this up to work with Discord so when you talk it shows up (assuming you'd still need a camera?).
Yeah it can work! You can either set it up as a virtual camera and set it as your discord camera, or you can screen share the VTube studio application. Both require you to be in a voice call to do though

How do use it without a computer
For streaming you need a computer. Otherwise you can just download the app from the AppStore on iOS or android!

Not for this. You can use a webcam however for face tracking!

I appreciate the concern! I used to think so as well, however this IP is specific to VTube Studio only as I’ve learned and it constantly changes so it’s ok!

Yes I do! Pretty much the only upgrade it has though is being able to get rid of the watermark in the corner

Besides the free models vtube studio is giving there are bearly options for completely free models. So you have to do your own or commission an artist and rigger which is pretty pricey

@@xxwolfyxx5151 is your phone connected to the same wifi network as your computer? You also have to make sure that the IP and server numbers on the desktop app and mobile app are the same
