The Letchworth Conspiracy

The pre-cursor to the 21st Century Learning Initiative, Education 2000, created this short video in response to its work in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, in the late 1980s. The project was so successful it attracted the attention of senior MPs at the time who wanted Education 2000 CEO John Abbott to work with them. However, the potential to change UK education for the better was lost as Nigel Hawthorne of Yes Minister fame explains . . . .
