Isnt this the cutest scene ever?! ahahah man this video is so adorable! The way he holds the stylus and moves his hand, you can feel the craftsmanship master he is. I also feel like the low resolution of the screen doesnt allow him to perform as he would be doing in a sketchbook, but thats the beauty of it as well, as you see him experimenting and being playful in this different digital environment.
@rane998 You're funny. Yoichi Kotabe is a legendary Japanese animator. He's most famous as the character designer and animation director for Heidi, Girl of the Alps (1974) and 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother), alongside his two lifelong colleagues, Hayao Miyazaki (layout) and Isao Takahata (director). Oh, and he was part of the core group that created The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun (1968), the movie that pretty much invented the modern anime era.
seems like he's struggling to draw cause the DS isnt able to capture all the small nuances and strokes that would've been available in more traditional mediums
