    When are going to release 'The Girl With The Golden Spoon'? It's a surefire hit!

    It’s a great looking game, but as I’d play it mostly as 2 player, it’s not quite ticking that box for me. Looks so good at 3-4 players though 👍

    It is just as Sherlock Holmes always says: the game is a foot.

    Another wonderful GameNight! I looked this one up on BGG and it isn't rated very highly - but looked quite good here! Is it thought to be too luck driven? Or maybe it's a rich-gets-richer concern?

      Nikki and I really love it. We have played it many times now and while there is going to always be a luck element, the joy of making satisfying play is worth it. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln

    You don't have the english version?

      We got ours last year at SPIEL when there wasn’t an English version. We waited to do it on the show until and English version was going to be available. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln

    Why are even the cheapest card games put in plastic sleeves. I find it hard to understand about the plastic sleeves. Games are allowed to have traces of use with time!

    • @Jonniefrog
      @Jonniefrog 10 месяцев назад +1

      I guess it’s sponsorship driven. right? Sponsored by card sleeves, suggests which sleeves to buy, played to show them ‘in action’. Marketing/advertising baby!! They can’t generate the quality of content without funding 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@Jonniefrog BGG's content was good even 12 years ago when it wasn't dependent on advertising as you claim. They know how to make good videos! I'm really just about those unnecessary plastic sleeves for cards! I chose this hobby because I don't want to leave an extremely large environmental footprint and the first step for me is not to put my cards in sleeves.

      @@berndwinkler1677 good for you! The hobby in general is pretty plastic heavy, but there are more ethical ways to be involved in it. Buying second hand, choosing games from ethical publishers etc. Pointing fingers and attempting to ‘shame’ others for their choices never persuades others to make different choices. I am really drawn towards more ethical games. I have a game called Ecosystem from Clementoni made from recycled card, plant based inks, paper bags for tokens, no plastic wrap. I have one game I love that I’ve sleeved to protect. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@Jonniefrog I can not quite agree with you and I was also about something else! Most games that have not seen the light of day as a Kickstarter, are now pretty plastic-free except for the wrapped card stacks. My point was not to add more plastic to games when a game is mine. Inserts can be wooden and cards don't need a card sleeve! - My opinion! 😎
