The whole thing about Ursula being in the Jug was actually for an entirely different interpretation of it, of an older story I suppose. The jug of thinner was... an actual industrial plastic jug of paint thinner, shaped like a bleach jug and all, and it wasn't where the Blot was contained. Rather, it was a whole land of its own, the Jug Pump. It was gonna be used to pump out the thinner out of the oceans back into the whole jug, but the pumps themselves were broken, and one of the quests was about fixing it. Ursula probably lived in it while it was empty, and I think she was supposed to help Mickey at some point. She was a bit of a Wise Woman archetype, telling a lot of things to Mickey about Wasteland, the Blot and whatnot.
I imagine the Queen of Hearts having the same fate as Captain Hook and would be turned into Beetle works. Basically something like a giant Tanker that shoots streams of thinner instead of blotches one at a time.
Purple lamp just make epic mickey 3. Ingore 2 just make the sequel dammmmmmm it. And this time do wonderland dammmm it, and also According to Chase Jones, the Beanstalk Factory was originally designed as a 2D level but was scrapped due to the developers moving to more defined things and the "platforming vs choice" which never came through in a fun way
The moment an Epic Mickey game gets a Wonderland level will be awesome. It's hard to believe it's been scrapped from every Epic Mickey game (except for Path Painter). The Beanstalk Factory being a totally 2D level sounds like an interesting idea, too bad it never made it into the final game
My dream idea for mickey 3 wouldve been the beetleworks foing haywire and a boss with animatronic donald goofy and daisy with options to reprogram them for paint path and decomission them for thinner
The gameplay was great, but was utterly undercooked, plus the game is still being developed from ground up in unreal engine 5, these things take time man.
Do you mean the doors under the train station? I know there are hidden pink elephants in Mean Street, but I don't remember a Wonderland section. Then again, I haven't properly explored EM2 in a while, so I might have forgotten/missed it
@@AnimationsDownUnder I think I may be misremembering where the location is but its a separate location with nothing but a background view of the Alice in Wonderland land. I mainly remember it because I spent so long there as a kid thinking there was something more to the area. I think upon entering, Gus has some written text.
This is more hypothetical if anything, but if we DO get an Epic Mickey 3, these are what the villains and enemies should be. Firstly, some clarification. If you recall the ending of Epic Mickey 2, there were the Petes that were plotting something. Well, what if I tell you that they were in kahoots with the Rhyming Man and Miklos Mouse from the comics and of course, they were the main villains. Though there is this burning question. Which of these rejected designs of well known villains and scrapped villains are going to continue what the Blot and the Mad Doctor started? As in, there must be those rapscallions that actually LIKED what the Blot and the Mad Doctor was doing. The Rhyming Man and Miklos were those rapscallions. Though they knew that they couldn't do it alone, so they enlist the Petes and even villains from every area in Wasteland to do just that. The Rhyming Man and Miklos would order each villain from their respective area to suck out all the paint in order to gain their hearts, something quite twisted to be sure. However, whilst there were villains that were open to it, there were those that they were obligated to follow along and actually wanting to do it themselves, resulting in what I can presume a very interesting relationship dynamic of the villains. The rejected designs of the wicked Queen (along with her quite amusing hag form), the Jack-in-the-Box, the Weasels and Mr. Winkie, a team of Maleficents (in the words of Deleted Disney, 'we could do the Weird Sisters trope and have all the Maleficents working together to take over Wasteland.), Mim and Greedyguts, Prince John, the Sheriff(s) of Nottingham, Sir Hiss and the Wolf Archers, a witch from 'The Little Broomstick', Ursula, two brothers that were both named Gaston and Oui-Oui, Judge Claude Frollo, Hades, Pain and Panic and the Hydra, the Huns, Mother Gothel, the Snow Queen, King Magnifico, Queen Amaya and Charo were tasked to suck out the paint of Fantasy Central and New Fantasy Central respectively. Edgar and Elvyria, Yama, the Fujitas, Ratigan and his cat, owl and snake enforcers were tasked to suck out the paint in Mean Streat. Bowler Hat Guy, DOR-15 and Yokai were tasked to suck out the paint in Tomorrow City and Discovery Island. Jafar, Sinbad, Nasira, Yzma and Huaca were tasked to suck out all of the paint in Ventureland. Scar (both his lion and baboon forms) and Hyenas were tasked to suck out all of the paint in the Beastly Kingdom. Lastly, Dr. Facilier is tasked to suck all of the paint in Bog Easy. The roles of the villains would be interesting. For example, Bowler Hat Guy and Yokai built the Beetleworx and Blotworx as they had nicked the blueprints from the Mad Doctor and Ecks, Doublex and Triplex. The Maleficents not only has their army of unused designs of the Goons, but also Blotlings. Now you may be wondering, what about the other villains such as Cruella, Ratcliffe, Reynard and his family, helpers and Poco Loco, Shere Khan and Alameda Slim and others? Well, to put it bluntly, it isn't really worth their troubles since they have their own agendas. I do think that this is a good idea and I like the concept of them sucking out the paint I think that this might be too many villains and it might be easy to get lost it also sounds like the world would be much bigger which would make a much bigger game but honestly with a little bit of changes this would be a great game if they could pull it off while still keeping the dark feel of the first game
I feel like epic Mickey 3 would’ve sucked mainly because of the music thing a musical feels like the exact opposite of the dark grim feel of the original game
Yeah, while I think you could probably make a musical game with darker themes, based on EM2's songs, EM3 probably would have been upbeat and not at all dark

my biggest hope is the remake revives the series and gives it another chance because this series is just bursting with potential
Yeah, they've barely scratched the surface on what a game series like Epic Mickey can bring!
I hope if rebrushed goes well we can get a potential DLC with Wonderland and the Beanstalk Factory.
Yeah that'd be awesome if they aren't added into the base game!
@@AnimationsDownUnderI'm with you.
I imagine the Queen of Hearts having the same fate as Captain Hook and would be turned into Beetle works. Basically something like a giant Tanker that shoots streams of thinner instead of blotches one at a time.
Interesting idea, it would fit with the other Rocket Part bosses having robotic elements to them
My headcannon is that the 'scrapped' stories of Epic Mickey is actually what happened, and these games are revised editions by Disney

I’m hoping they add cut content to the remake
Fingers crossed 🤞
@@AnimationsDownUnderthat would be cool
Doesn't seem like it unfortunately, but we can hope for DLC
Now we have Disney Speedstorms with Oswald included.😁
Yeah! It's too bad he's a seasonal character though
Having julius the cat would be possible since alice comedies is public domain now.
Yeah, they totally could. Imagine Julius in Epic Mickey 2 Rebrushed or Epic Mickey 3!
@@AnimationsDownUnder yessss
dude how are you not more popular? you're so good ty for making these videos! i especially loved the mickeyjunk mountain truth videos
Thanks so much :D
I guess there isn't much demand for Epic Mickey video essays, I'm still surprised there's 400 people who wanna watch these!
IMO what killed the Franchise was the multiplayer co-op focus of the second game, instead of focusing on what made the first one great
True, I think that multiplayer (and mostly Oswald's bad AI) was one factor towards it's demise, although imo there were a lot more factors
Maybe they put the script content on epic Mickey 2 Rebrushed if epic Mickey one does well
Hopefully 🤞

Sadly didn’t get announced for Nintendo Direct guess we have to wait until August 😔😔😔
😔
At least it's just a couple of months. We'll get there
The gameplay was great, but was utterly undercooked, plus the game is still being developed from ground up in unreal engine 5, these things take time man.
atleast it's appearing at gamescom according to the rebrushed steam page!
SOUND THE ALARMS! PRE-ORDERS ARE AVAILABLE NOW!!!
It’s back
Indeed it is :D

No dialogue though, which makes me wonder if I found a glitch to an unfinished area, as the second game mainly had dialogue for every section.
atomi: if ya still don't like us than get off this giant whale boat!
prescott: oh no! you are not getting me to do that!
noah: oh shut up!
uh, what?
oh please pardon this. its a little epic mickey series clip
Love your videos this is my favorite game ever first played it in December of 2010

If Rebrushed does well, I reckon they'll definitely either remake Epic Mickey 2 or make a new Epic Mickey sequel. Fingers crossed it sells enough!

Only a couple of months before that 14 year gap is over!!
